Rifling on an actual gun barrel works because the bullet fits much tighter in the barrel, and the pressure from the explosion at the base of the round pushes it through the barrel.

I saw your modifications and all that , but it's my one and only rampage what means that I would be sad if something bad happens to it... My question is , should I modify it later , when I am more experienced , older and already tried it ,or should I do it now ? Thank for answering ( if you answer ) .... Also , have you seen the blaster stock ( from the modulus ) ? You know , it has a Jolt range ... I use an old dremel my grandfather gave me before he passed away. It seems to be the same type as yours, so I do believe you can use yours. It's not the tools that truly matter, but the worker's ability to use them.
The retaliator spring is stronger than the rampage's, so, used that with a maverick or strongarm spring. I didn't use the splat's because my catch was about to break. P.S. doesn't it become hard to prime the blaster?

At :54 is it possible to mod the Retaliator grip (useless on said gun) and add it onto the Rampage? I like that grip for, well, the grip, over the Rampage's stock, plastic grip. I'm asking this because my hands sweat up a lot and I lose some grip on my slides / bolts.
because the AR (air restrictor) limits the amount of force that is delivered, keeping the internals from slamming into each other when it is dry fired. without them, unless a dart is in the gun, there is nothing to supress the force, and the internals bash into each other, which will break them after awhile. note that removing the ARs and firing with a dart in will still eventually break the gun, but nowhere near as soon. and while the AR helps, dry firing with the AR intact will bring range
Rifling in a barrel only works with high velocity projectiles. You can't realistically put a spin on a textured surface like a foam dart using plastic ridges and an air plunger delivery system. It's probably there for aesthetic purposes.
rifling only works when the projectile expands into the grooves of the barrel, so not to mention that the rifling is backwards, it should be cut into the barrel, and darts don't expand, so even if it would do anything, the effect would be very minuscule.
Hey bro. I know it might not be your area of expertise totally but I bought a rampage just for the 25 dart drum and the pumping action to prime the dart (so the priming handle itself won’t pull back) I’m not to fussed because I only wanted the drum anyway. But I took it apart and still can’t see why it won’t pull back. ( it works find without the other half of the gun put back on ) Is it a problem you have heard of at all? Chers Matt
i used a spring from a nitefinder, i think drac uses small springs from a bag of generic springs he gets at home depot? he mentioned it in one of his videos, cant recall which. this one is the most frustrating nerf gun to put back together.
i should probably point out, dont reproduce my idea. the nitefinder spring is too powerful somehow, and wont let me actually shoot. now i have to undo all the stuff i just did..

No, the video isn't worthless. Drac added a smaller spring inside the one that was already there. I tried to replace the spring entirely with one from a nitefinder that i wanted to upgrade. For whatever reason, it doesn't wanna work. I'm thinking the diameters are wrong or something.
+MysteriousBaconKing it is actualy better side ways because 1) it doesnt get in the way of priming the blaster 2) the springs in the clips are pretty weak, so feeding sideways will help
Its going to be a tough choice...I think the Rampage is better in almost every way, but the deathdealer and I have set many records and slain many zombies. I dont know if I'll be able to let it collect dust. Time will tell. If I could get my hands on a GoPro, then I could make some sick hvz videos.

Will you any time soon show how to remove the clip lock in the rampage, I've been pumped up for this mod guide for a while but I've been disappointed when there was no clip lock mod, I knew how to do all the mods in this vid already, and I've actually done them before you posted this, so I will be very happy to see a video on how to remove the locks
@LordDraconical Hmm maybe you should upgrade your Deathdealer with the Massacre kit? If your using the stage 1 kit. I say stick with it till it lasts and move onto the Rampage. Your HVZ videos are definitely the most entertaining ones and your end of the year doomwar, I think everyone would love to see the nerf vampire in action. I need to upgrade or exchange my camera in order to upload videos.
Hey Drac, in a video a while back you said that nobody had replicated your radeioactive (or how ever you spell it) mavericks. So i did replicate them, I couldnt do the LED's because i dont have a radio shack around but, i did replcate them.

No. It's metal for a reason. It won't break if you give it a heavier spring.

Put a drill to it and drill it out or get a pick and hammer lightly until you break the plastic and get needle nose pliers as remove

I'd like to see someone make the clip go DOWN not sideways, it makes 18 dart stick round mags more practical. Actually, I am planning on doing one :D

i learned that if you cut down on the tube where it meats the new dart tooth door it will push the dart in depper yet getting a better seal
If you really love your death dealer cs infinity, you figure out a way to put the rampage internals inside ur alpha trooper.
Sonic Ice versions of these have a little orange de-priming button, behind the magazine well now.

Just got mine. That orange jam door opposite the drum feed was the first thing to go. This thing jams way too much to have that thing on!
