great video ryan looks like the thing that was broken didnt look too mayjor so thats good you guys were able to fix it and lloks like she planted well great job thumbs up and shared
Thank you Ryan. If JCB or Honda equipment that cheap, short cut piece would never made it through the development team. Someday folks will see there are wonderful, proven alternatives to Yellow and Green. Fantastic videos from a very long time, always intrigued, appreciative subscriber.
Haha what? Are you talking about a 20-30 year old worn out planter that's no different than another other built in it's time? To compare that to a new JCB or Honda is hilarious. Think you better compare new to new and old JCB equipment is a joke.
Ryan when you planting beans in tilled ground, when do you want the row cleaners making trenches? So they settle out so you combine head can clip low enough?
on my planter i replaced all the bearings on the jackshafts this spring. none were out but they turned hard at 1st and loosened up after turning them a bit.
Question on the seed tender trailer.. we have one just like it and it seems that the auger always drops some seed when folding unless you open the cleanout and run it backwards. Does your’s have the same “feature”? It acts like it never cleans out the top half of the auger on its own.
Go your separate ways boys before it's too late. Tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife. At 7:54 Ryan comment with fortunately or unfortunately. You can tell by their own channels each of them have a different demeanors. Nothing wrong with different interests, just do things you enjoy in life.
Maybe Brittney thinks its cute but it's sucks being around a negative BUSINESS partner. Travis is the mechanic and Ryan is the video guru. Nothing wrong with either, just different interests. Really, the only thing in common is their Dad.
Some machines are engineered with an easy to break cheap part so if a hard to fix expensive part recieves too much force the easy to break cheap part breaks instead of the expensive part. Kind of a physical fuse.
"I fixed your mistake this time, next time we're gonna have words!" I wish my brother was stupid enough to say that shit to me. lets just say it wouldn't do it again.
More likely a cost thing. Looking at it another way: The plastic breaking is preventing something more serious from breaking. Similar to a fuse blowing--keeps something else from going up in smoke.
Helps you control what breaks when there's a problem. Some people will choose belts over chains when given the option for that reason. They would rather replace a belt than a more expensive part.
Have you thought about getting an editor? that way you can put more videos out, get more exposure and money, film everyday and use your normal editing time to continue filming or work?

Wow! Nice bright lights!
Boy, Travis is sounding big and tough these days!
Things always break on a Friday. Luck it was early enough to get to the parts store.
New lights on the 4640 look pretty sweet!
good video man good job good to see brothers teas each other
This man’s thumbnails don’t miss 🔥🔥💪

Good Morning from New Zealand, Brilliant How farms work Video, Have a great weekend
Hey Ryan!! Hey Travis!! Hope the planting is going well. Can't believe it's planting season again!
Hey Darrin!
Great awesome video Ryan snd Travis oh look Travis put it together snd it’s on camera ,
Great to see that the 46 can light up the night👍😁 your camera work is awesome, well done😉👍
Thanks!!!
I would have a local machine shop make you that part in bronze/brass and never have to worry about it.
I love Travis! "I want to make a note, this is the part of the planter U worked on" LOL
Awesome Video as Always!!!
Ryan when you planting beans in tilled ground, when do you want the row cleaners making trenches? So they settle out so you combine head can clip low enough?
4:17 Dogs in the background doing dog things 🤣
Haha ,and dog things are the same all over the world .
I love dogs .
on my planter i replaced all the bearings on the jackshafts this spring. none were out but they turned hard at 1st and loosened up after turning them a bit.
Great video
Should have bought two. Having an extra is the only way to be sure it will never break again.
Great video Ryan!!!
Thanks Cassius! Have a good weekend! Video coming on Sunday!
We use those carlisle’s on a bunch of our UTVS and they work great. Also much cheaper then the Deere and Kubota factory replacements
Good stuff Ryan, put it down to Freaky Friday:):)
I would buy all three bearings and piss the other farms off lol
Nice hoodie
Now boys let’s not have WORDS 😂😂
If Hannah had been there everything would have been great lol to Ryan
Wow ,the Tractor with the doble tires is cool ,we don't have that i germany .
When u put the planter in road mode then unfold it when back in the field it might be tweaking the Fram just enough to want to throw the chain off.
Like the video Ryan .
Those parts be acting like teenagers - they only cause problems when no ones around to watch them lol
I been watching all the planting videos and there’s nothing but problems with the new equipment
Looks like the old planters are breaking down too.
Have you guys put a hydraulic Power Beyond kit on the 4640 or does your planter not need continuous flow to run? I'm wanting to do it to my 4960.
Betcha a shaft bearing is locking up.

It never breaks or messes up when your watching it... of course! SMH👀 good luck guys knock those acres out.👍
Ryan, typical big brother comment. That is the part you worked on.
Nice OLF sweatshirt
Awesome 😎
What drone do you use, I looking to buy a good one.
Maybe a chunk in the auger made it break that’s happen to me already
Buy 2, keep one as a spare.
Someone once told me plastic parts like that were meant to break first to protect other parts. I have no idea if it's true or not.
I can't believe travis threatened you
Where does the marker arm line up on your tractor?
Right down the middle

The beginning is just you and the gangs.

How much were those tires?
$4K
Electric drives solves that issue!
Hello 🤩
At least it was a cheap part.
Hey Hey Hey, Great way to start my Friday- a New How Farms Work Video :) - Be safe- God Bless :)
Hello ryan
Hey!
As Brian brown would say “working words”
Wasn't it your brothers fault the second time it broke? He touched it last...
Well its like they say if you ain't breaking something you not farmin
It looked to me like the shaft might be a tad warped.maybe check that out guy's
Plastic bearing!? 🤔
"I fixed your mistake this time, next time we're gonna have words!" I wish my brother was stupid enough to say that shit to me. lets just say it wouldn't do it again.
Well, who broke it this time, Travis?? Hmmm?
how many acres does one of those big black seed containers do?
If its not one thing it's another glad u were able to still keep rolling and not have a lot of down time
Why you always drive other trucks and not your own i understand Travis with his being hooked to tender
Travis’s truck and the white truck are the farm-owned trucks. I use them when I can.
Glad It wasn't major doesn't make ya wonder why they use plastic part on a planter

Less chance of corrosion from fertilizer liquid or granular.

Why not buy a spare for just $6?
Looks to like you need to update to a iH early riser!
It is good that John Deere did not sponsor this video.
Hahaha haha 😛
First comment!
Never trust a guy to measure anything under 12 inches.---every woman ever.
😂😂😂
Go watch a recent AvE video. He doesn't have any big stuff and he's not a farmer. He ha a real high opinion of John Deere .
JD could make that bearing out of metal but then they would have to charge an extra $100 for the planter. Pathetic.
Plastic tractors. Sucks big time
Early one today
1st!
Maybe check that chain it may have too much wear and flexing too much
Have you thought about getting an editor? that way you can put more videos out, get more exposure and money, film everyday and use your normal editing time to continue filming or work?
Way more expensive than I could have ever afforded
When you wear that hoodie you’re supposed to have a crappie attitude and a foul mouth.
