I've only seen this show twice, so I've never noticed how his supply search makes sense. The episode is broken up so much due to the fighting, but this is so helpful to understand how he listens to the guys to find the morphine and scissors. Plus, I like going down the BoB rabbit hole! Doc Roe is one of my favorites :)

One of my favorite (and arguably one of the best) Doc Roe moments is when he chews out Winters and Welsh for not keeping track of how much morphine they had given to Moose Heileger when he was wounded.

My uncle was the medic in alot of of the movie his name was wilard Kennedy. Sergeant Kennedy. One day in 1977 or so a man came to his house and talked with him and he wrote down his stories about being in the battle of the bulge. He told him about having to get supplies. He had to go to a house in the woods and ask for bandages from a farmer. He gave a young boy his first taste of chocolate . Sergeant Kennedy had to take a pair of boots off of a man that had died seconds before. Everyone was saying come on he just died and your taking his boots. He had to explain that someone needed the boots because a man had his boots drying by a fire and the boots got blown up when the fire got hit with mortar

When the main story grinds to a halt and you start doing side quests.

The most humbling experience, you think about something bad in your life? Imagine, german artillery. I rewatch this to remain humble.
