Billy has led “la vida loca” for sure. Dude seems like he would be cool to hang out with. Seems smart and he’s an excellent story teller.Joe seemed excited to find out how crazy and fucked up Billy’s dad was.

Freakonomics follows 20 kids and follows up every 2 or 5 years. I read the book back in 07 and there is documentation supporting if someone has a messed up childhood it is a marker for success, They believe it instills the drive to be successful.

Billy Corgan should really work on an Biopic. He seems to have worked the stuff on therapy later; clearly.

My mom does/did they same shi*. I had the cleanest room in the house growing up, and she'd always ask if she could clean it. Very infuriating. The whole house was trash and she wouldn't clean it, but would always try to take credit for mine. Billy & I are so relatable, except his p's were druggies, and mine were straight-laced born-agains.

Billy's father wrote the first two albums and the b sides that became the third album. Rumor is Dennis Rodman heard this and it's the reason he visits North Korea to share music. Peace.

Reminds me of my own Dad who inherited some land from an Aunt in Cleveland, had me help him clear brush and trees for an entire summer claiming he would pass the land to me when he died, then immediately sold it after we were done with the work. Lol.

I'm 52 years old and remember when Smashing pumpkins started out & when they were huge. I never liked them though. Until the last year or so, now I regret not listening to them back in the day. But at least I'm not listening to something "popular ".
