Akis brought back memories of when I lived in the UK, the landlady used to cook shepherd's pie and it was one her dishes we all used to look forward to. If I recall correct, she would not add celery she did grate the onion, garlic and the carrot as Akis mentioned. She skipped the butter and flour and peas and added just tomato paste. She served the peas separately. She would not use the piping bag yet she always forked the top once the potato glaze was on top of the filling. Thanks for bringing back memories :D.

Ahh the delicious shepherd's pie, a great staple, and a very popular dish for a mid-week treat here in the UK, love your version, I would never normally add tomato paste but will try it, thanks as usual Akis, amazing recipe 🤩

I love adding worcestershire sauce to the meat filling in my shepherds pie but the lamb and rosemary is the star of the show.

Greek Olive oil(Extra virgin of course) coupled with those ingredients just is mouthwatering.

I cooked it today and it tasted very good especially the potatoes, were delicious.

great recipe, I have two questions, which part of lamb do you use there and are the peas frozen or canned?

Your Moussaka is the best ... but..my Apologies - but my grandmothers Shepherds Pie was the best . ...gravy is one cup of beef stock with thyme and English parsley two large onions and 4x large carrots. - rosemary is too strong --
I always have to make additional gravy to go on the side of my Shepherd's Pie. Come on, guess my nationality?
