No conceit, no arrogance and a fully formed personality. He didn't get his every wish because he was always gorgeous, so he's more grounded than people who were so growing up.

I absolutetly love them slating the studio model. I cannot watch Holllywood at the moment. I am so out of touch with their process of creating films and ticking all these boxes. I totally agree the independent scene allows so much much range and intricacy. Especially if you have an auteur who is directed, writing and in charge of the whole movement of the film. Glad in the past 5/6 years the indie has made a big comeback and financing is reaching some really interesting productions outside the central studio model.

What an absolutely fantastic conversation and interview. What stands out for me is how relaxed and in synergy these two are. There isn't the awkwardness I feel in so many interviews where there's the interviewer that is kinda interviewing and kinda gawking at the celebrity creating a bit of awkwardness I see in so many interviews. Whereas here it's like Army and Dakota, they are both on the same page, respecting each other and curious about each other's experiences. It feels so honest and real to listen to them. I just love the behind the scenes detail reveals about Dakota's breakdowns before filming (who would have guessed!) and the fake cocaine snorting tricks - way cool. I Just absolutely LOVED 'Call me By Your Name'. Can't wait to see ' On the Basis of Sex' and Dakota, Dakota, Dakota, you are one of the sweetest most grounded celebrities out there. Your energy is divine, and you are pure pleasure to watch on film. Thank you both for your artistic contribution to our world ! See you at the movies !
