Just had a Hisense TV fail with this same issue, the problem is the eMMC flash memory on the main board hits its maximum number of writes and fails into a read-only mode. The main symptoms are errors in the Android TV OS: an "out of storage" error, the black screen a few seconds/minutes after startup, if you manage to delete apps or factory reset they all reappear after restarting, etc. Looking around online this appears to be a fairly common issue at the 3-5 year mark for their 2019-2020 lineup of TVs. I assume they used a low quality eMMC chip to lower the price and don't really care because it survives through their provided warranty. You see the same problems with cheap USB flash drives when they die.
The TV is "usable" while in the state as a dumb TV in the sense that you can use something like the Netflix button on the remote to power it on then change the input. Changing picture/sound settings is a crapshoot in this state (might work, but will revert if you restart it), and the Android TV OS is non-functional (any time it tries to write files to the nvram it'll fail and crash the OS causing the black screen).

Agree. This TV exhibited some of the same behaviors that you mentioned.

Had EXACTLY the same problem with my H9G. Started with storage problems, where it recommended I delete applications. However I don't have ANY applications loaded as I primarily watch TV through a 4K Fire Cube. Initially I could ignore the problem but it got worse to the point it was recycle many times after struggling to get the main page loaded, and then would simply shut itself down. My TV is almost exactly 4 years old. Reading multiple sources, it appears to be a common fault with this model of TV (we bought ours in 2020) and so replacing the motherboard will likely buy us another 4 years and the exact same fault will recur. Bottom line, although the picture quality was great, I will never buy another Hisense TV and now recommend all my friends stay away from this brand entirely. At the very least, Hisense should've released an updated motherboard with a permanent fix to this issue, but to-date I've seen no indication they did so.

this looks like its an issue with the power supply they usually fail because the capacitors start failing. the software tries to do smoething turn a wifi radio on etc that it doesnt have enough power for and it reboots any time the voltage rail drops below the nessecary level. its like a 2 dollar fix.

From the Hisense website. Go in the Support section of their site, search for the model of TV, and then the Downloads section

Yes, the storage crapped out which is happening to a bunch of folks over the past year or two. The only fix is to replace the motherboard with a new one, which are now hard to find. I paid around $170 about 8 months ago for a replacement motherboard. The process of replacing it is fairly easy and shouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes (most of that time is laying the unit flat and taking out a bunch of screws). I now use the TV as a dumb TV, and don't even connect it to WiFi, using a Roku stick in one of the HDMI's. Hisense used the kind of storage you find in bottom-rung chinese Android units. Frankly unbelievable. The picture on the TV is still great, for a $500 original purchase price.

This tv didn't require motherboard replacement. Instead the ROM chip was replaced. There's a company in Arizona that it was sent to. The repair was about $140 and comes with a 1 year warranty.
