This team will be significantly better than expected if Zach n Vooch buy in and guys can stay healthy. Stop looking at their age, most of the young guys now have at least 3 years under their belt.
What do you expect him to say, they gonna lose on purpose? Luckily they won’t be good enough to win enough games. They probably will end up around 10-11 seed with them actually trying to win
I don't think these quotes are really something we can take at face value. A GM can't openly admit to tanking, they basically have to say they are trying to win (remember the Mavs got fined $750,000 for admitting they were tanking). Tanking is like free agent tampering -- everyone knows a lot of teams do it, but the league can't do anything about it unless the teams slip and admit to it publicly / on the record. Of course, that's not to say they won't try to win as many games as possible... not saying I suddenly believe in this front office. 🤣 We'll just have to see how they actually handle games once the season is underway.
@risottonero6635 they need to keep their pick. We prolly aren't bad enough for flagg, but this draft is so much more than flagg. Some of these guys might actually have a higher ceiling. I don't get why fans don't want a tank to try and chase the playin with a young core full of complementary guys. We ain't going anywhere with this young core. They need a true star around them, a star that this draft can provide even if it isn't flagg.
You legit have a 7'2 unicorn from south Sudan who could easily be the best player in this draft if he can develop. He is projected anywhere from 5-10. This draft is so stacked
I’ve heard many teams are trying to position themselves for Cooper Flagg. But has he guaranteed a 1 and done college career? I mean it can be assumed he’s coming out but I just haven’t heard him directly say it. Who are the other quality players in this draft class?
@kennethhill3924 no one really guarantees going one and done. But if you are going number 1, you don't go back to school. But no guarantees, especially one or more of these guys pass him, which is actually entirely possible. But outside flagg, this upcoming freshman class is stacked. Rutgers got both ace Bailey and Dylan harper (Ron Harper's kid). Both are special and neither would surprise me if they moved ahead of flagg. VJ Edgecombe (baylor) is another potential franchise talent. Then there is Nolan Traore from France. Those are considered the big 5 at the moment, along with flagg. But there are a few other names to watch out for. Khaman Maluach is the 7'2 unicorn from Sudan, will play with flagg at duke. Drake Powell at UNC, and to a lesser extent Ian Jackson. Tre Johnson at Texas could be special. There are a few others. We will see how they all look in the college level.
I agree. Come trade deadline, winning teams around the NBA are gonna come calling on players like Vooch, Torrey Craig, maybe Zach, Jevon Carter, Lonzo if he’s healthy…and if the Bulls are smart (and that’s a big if) they would take offers and sell high. But they haven’t shown that kind of smarts in years past. So let’s hope someone can convince them this isn’t the season to shoot for the play-in.
My expectations are very low at this point. I'm almost at the point of wanting this coming season to be over with already and see how the next one turns out. That's how they got me right now
😂😂😂😂 bro it’s so crazy at this point… watching Zach play another season with this team is the cherry on top of the heartbreak of the off-season. Of course he is back in it and being compliant! The dude leading this team is gone so now he can feel like alpha dawg again. TC JC both should have gone before Woo and Drum. Playmaking will look better this season with our dudes. First half of last season was a dumpster fire still tryna make it work with Debo and Zach. If Zach didn’t take a bow for a while Coby wouldn’t have made that leap. So what does that do to our other young guys growth now he’s back??? He gets mins and plays to rebuild stock to stifle the growth again. 🤦🏻♂️
Also nah Zach came back after that injury last season looking like a right "yes sir" player, Coby was definitely still the man in the 9 games that Zach played after coming back and actually did a lot more on offense AND defense in regards to facilitating and effort. Unless Zach starts off HOT and Coby starts off COLD, Zach is no longer "him" for this team
@@anthonychristianson411 exactly. Zach hasn’t been him for this team since 2020 if we keeping it real. Which is fine. If he was willing to try and grow his intangibles like being a leader, and playing unselfish ball without ego. Too many times he was out here caping and looked foolish. If he didn’t sit out last season Ayo and Coby never make those jumps. Maaaaaaaybe Ayo. But not Sub Zero.
If you actually been watching the bulls have a good chance of being good at any time. Teams like okc and Minnesota have showed how youth and chemistry can do something, let’s give them a chance to grow instead of bashing
except the Bulls don't have a young star player like Ant, Shai, Chet, Jalen Williams, etc. Their best "young" guy is Patrick Williams and while I think Buzelis will be solid, I don't think his ceiling is as high as any of those guys I just mentioned.
AK can not admit to trying to lose. It'd literally force the NBA to fine him and likely end up with him being blackballed from the league. This has happened before after all.
Question, if lonzo is healthy. what is the starting lineup looking like having lonzo coby zach and giddey. If lonzo is healthy I would say start lonzo at the 1 coby at the 2 zach at the 3 williams or buzelis at the 4 and vuc at 5
@ki2726 i can't believe how many bulls fans are ok with this year after year. Prefer this over tanking. Anyone that actually think we have a franchise player on our roster now is fooling themselves.
@@swaymcthunder1219 I don’t think they have a choice. That’s the path ownership wants to go down. They want to stay somewhat viable and competitive and not completely bottom out for the next 3-5 years.
@ki2726 i mean, i understand why ownership wants it. They are running a business. Why mess with something that isn't broke. I don't understand why fans are ok with this tho. I understand what management wants, and i am not ok with being in basketball hell. All these young players to me are complementary guys at best, tho matas upside is big. But with zach in the fold, there won't be all this player progression that we think. If we give our draft pick to the spurs, this season will be a complete waste. We need a real star player.
This is the example of how to do everything wrong and just having history because of pure luck. This franchise will never be at the level of San Antonio, for example.
@CrixDeveloper for real though. This franchise would be a laughing stock like the clippers if we never hit the lotto getting the number 1 pick to draft rose or the blazers don't pass on jordan.
Yeah the front office I don't like you they make bad decisions how could you get rid of a good player play DeMar DeRozan that put the team on his back and Alex Caruso already got rid of Patrick Williams and someone else that's crazy as hell
Demar, good as he may be, is getting old, combined with his solo ball and lack of defense and 3 pt shot, is not going to help the Bulls. At least he has higher trade value than Lavine at this point. Same reason why we traded AC, who has maximum trade value on this Bulls team.
Lololol my Bulls ain't winning more than 25 games this year. Just look at the owner. Same owner of the white Sox who put up a historical historically bad season.
Sadly, this franchise has turned into one that can only be fully appreciated by mind numbingly brain-dead casuals that never fully experienced the prior decades of success. More importantly, the precursor period of down years then and now too twice after our beloved 6 🏆's due to front office malfeasance. Real fans deserve better. Real teams that matter dont let a draft opportunity like '25 slip away. Again, sadly, that's why this franchise is a laughing stock league wide now known for willingly signing a one-dimensional passive agressive beta male to an untradable max contract. Do Better Bulls
I just can’t wait to see zo back out there it’s been so long I think he will be a good backup point guard for the Bulls
This team will be significantly better than expected if Zach n Vooch buy in and guys can stay healthy. Stop looking at their age, most of the young guys now have at least 3 years under their belt.
I foresee us winning just enough games to get the 11th pick thus losing our pick and feeding the future Spurs dynasty
@@pabblo101 sadly, there are a lot of bulls fans that seem to be happy with this outcome
I hate this front office so much. Please, sell the team Jerry and give us something better. We deserve it.
The team is getting passed on to his kids. Only way to make change is to stop going to games and stop giving them huge profits year after year.
What are you complaining about
@@Hooppedthe fact that they want to win. In the league today fans want their team to be losers through and through. Cucks basically
