In the book of the Red Mist in Library of Ruina you are basically told that she began using a prototype unstable E.G.O extracted from Nothing There, which was trying to make her into its shell. Kali only awakened her E.G.O by resisting that pull and finding her center, so it's possible that she wouldn't have been able to without it.

Manifesting E.G.O just requires you to be at peace with your past trauma. The Light makes it much easier, but it can be done without it. It just requires you to… yknow… be built different
I think the reason why the red ordeal (which probably related to oswald) and book hunter show up is because the old river that cogito was drawn from is said to hold every possiblity of human: past, present and future. So it could explain why it byproduct refer to bookhunter from LoR ending. Even some abno represent stuff in the city for example, judgement bird, big bird and small bird is similar to arbiter, beholder, claw.

I had a similar line of thought when it comes Ordeals. I had seem them more as representations of the City. All of the following would be just conjecture: I agree with the Red Ordeals being Oswald due to very similarities as well as Sweepers being present during the City's Purge hours. I had thought Green ordeals bearing the notion of sentience and pain probably relates to the City's past and huge disdain for robots (Roland mentions that they were banned more on the idea of what a human is, or some philosophical query) that led to the AI ethics statute. Or it could just be his hatred of machines (which would lead back to why and the AI history. On a side tangent, the part of Angela developing an EGO could also serve to reinforce that notion of AI being separate from humans as the roster of people who develop EGO were all humans, as well as those who distorted as Zena mentions their origins are essentially human. (Though a q&a explained that once she became human, she was allowed to remain in the City hence the book hunter ending) The Amber ordeals may take after the dog eat dog nature of the City. Most of its text more or so sound like those getting accustomed to the new state of living. The past of the City is blurred with only knowing that the Wings emerged and were swift to devour all other companies as Angela explains. Denizens of that time may have struggled (obviously continued struggle with taxes) to operate with a new regime. Violet ordeals are a mystery and I only thought of singularity, but I don't know. [As I said, it's all conjecture.] But it's nice to see that in some way, these Ordeals weren't forgotten when going into Ruina in some way as one could hypothesize their connection, especially with how blatant the White Ordeal is with book hunters and the Library and overall themes.

my theory on the white ordeals is that X is regaining their memory. As X and various personas of A emerge, their memories and traumas come back as well. This mean these white ordeals are personifications of A traumas of the Head's raid. this explains why the midnight of white is a claw.
I honestly would love for PM to make a spinoff about the aftermath of the bad ending in LoR and explore the events that takes place after following one of the bookhunter

The City is a place were you can (with enought money) literally become a giant multibladed killer robot with one eye and a cutesy voice (Gloria) I imagine that in a place like that, gender is something so superfluous and ephimeral that literally nobody pays attention to it... Probably to compensate, I can picture the City a place were discrimination comes from wealth and hierarchy, like how the nest-dwellers kinda universally don't give a damn fuck to what happens to the people of the Backstreets, or the circumstances in which Roland was denied a migration permit... kinda a "beggars aren't even human" situation, were people look at your value in your money (or the money they can make from you)
So basically, you can ignore the rules of the Head if you can beat claws or arbiters regularly as no one really cares outside of them due to the atmosphere of the city. That would make you a SOTC or impurity however.

Taii also is wielding a refined EGO, not an innate EGO within Wonderlab (staining roses, in particular.) Great Video however, just a bit quiet!
From what I got from the comic, Taii is pulling out a Kali and wielding both, since part of the equipment appears afterwards. She is wielding the staining rose armor, Aleph class armor, but the rapier seems to be her own EGO, in a similar way to Kali which has the Red Mist armor which is her own, but her sword being a prototype Mimicry

All of lob corps employees are bare minimum wagees, granted they do work for a wing. They are only special because of the abno gear. The gear is doing all the heavy lifting. There’s also the suppression field within the facility that dampens the effect of all the abnos in the facility. The pianist for example was said to only be at a WAW level and yet nearly leveled a good part of a district.

I find it very interesting that the city has no gender norms sure if they had different gender norms that would make sense because it's a different culture but I find that idea of a society having no one gender norms at all to be odd it makes me wonder why gender norms do not exist in the city where they're never gender norms in the city and if so why? Maybe gender norms did exist but were discarded for some reason and if so why? It seems like an interesting mystery in the lore I wonder if will get an answer for it but I'm also fine with it just kind of being a mystery.
