This song is an early signpost as to where my musical tastes would land in adulthood. Epic presentation, longer-than-standard length, strings and multiple layers of vocals, rock/metal with integrated piano, soaring melodies, and an ending that presents as completely at odds with the song that preceded it. Iconic. The coda of this song is one of my favorite bits of any song, ever. Slash’s guitar screaming anguish to the heavens, Axl’s wailing caterwaul underneath it, the manic piano runs, the low repetitive vocal lines, everything. Everything. The album was released in 1991.
Some less known songs I like are Out Ta Get Me and Yesterdays! But some other suggestions I read here like Don't Cry and You Could Be Mine, which are a bit more popular, are amazing too! It's hard to go wrong with this band
Absolutely LOVE Guns N Roses! This is one of my favourites. My all time favourite song is 'Sweet child O' mine' by Guns N Roses, I would be thrilled if you would react to it!
"You Could Be Mine" is perhaps my favorite GnR song. You might have heard it though, it's pretty popular, just not as widely known as Sweet Child, November Rain, Welcome to the Jungle, etc. I'd recommend it for a reaction.
@@colettepovey5071 It's a near perfect album IMO. The Illusion albums had more filler, though they still had a ton of good and great songs on them. And on GNR Lies, about 5 of the 8 songs I really enjoy. But AFD is undoubtedly their best album.
This song brought me back. Love this one. I always thought Axl’s bride and Slash were in love (in the video) and she was marrying Axl because she felt she had too. That is why Slash walked off and she was looking around when they got in the car. Love GNR music but was never a fan of Axl’s ego. I would recommend “Mr. Brownstone” if you haven’t heard it. Great recommendation.🤘🏻
I recommend "Mr Brownstone" as well, one of my favorites from GNR. In fact, look up "Mr Brownstone Unreleased Video", this was apparently meant to be the official music video back in the day, but wasn't put out for some reason. It would be great to react to this.
@@infin8reactions I highly recommend this song, in fact check out "Mr Brownstone Unreleased Video", which I mentioned in another comment. This would make a cool reaction.
"Nothing last forever"... Best line
Your marriage or Guns?

Oh I agree with all of that mate, such an iconic song, I knew it was either late 80's or early 90's, I just couldn't remember exactly 😃
Isnt this the longest song to chart in the last 30 years? Has to be right at 9 minutes.
11:45 i swear to god me and you started headbanging at the same time.

This is such a classic, can't say how much i played this song when i was younger!!!
Oh is an amazing song Karin for sure
Rocket Queen is one of my favorites. Also Nightrain & Mr Brownstone.
Those are all amazing. All highly recommended. In fact all of Appetite for Destruction album, its all great, aside from maybe one or two songs.
@@michaeljfoley1 For me this is probably the only album where I don't feel the need to skip songs when I'm listening to it

Between November Rain and Estranged , i have to lean towards Estranged. So many layers but Slash just shines above everybody.
Oooo I've never heard estranged

This song defines me as a person and has since 14. I wanted so bad to be Axl.
More Guns. Do Estranged or Rocket queen live
