Dayton isn't that big; living in north vs south isn't that big a deal for access to downtown. I also find it strange that she is comparing neighborhoods on the edge of downtown as "North" to suburbs that are miles further south. You should probably compare Kettering, Springboro, and Centerville to Englewood, Tipp City, Clayton, etc. Northern suburbs are much more affordable than south (potentially hundreds of thousands less for a comparable home).
Born in Dayton. Grew up in Miami County. I lived in Columbus for ten years, New York City for four. I came back to Troy in my 30s. Own a house up here now. There's a reason I came back. I own my house outright and lived on $17,000 last year. Great parks, bike path, the river, outdoor activities. I rarely leave town, honestly.
This is downtown versus south Dayton/Centerville. I was expecting her to discuss Beavercreek but she didn’t bring up 675 at all.
South Dayton is closer to Cincinnati and Cincinnati airport has more and cheaper flights. Centerville’s has an active park system with tons of activities for older adults and children. And downtown is only 15/20 minutes away from South Dayton.
I work in Healthcare have kids and North Dayton just feels better to me. I've always lived here too. Any questions you can ask. Great video
Loved living in Dayton. Thank you USAF!
Try Old North Dayton 😊.
I noticed you didn't say anything about West or East Dayton. 😆
I’m also curious about that from an investment prospective.
The old style brick structures of north Dayton look nice to me. If i ever immigrate into USA I'd live in Dayton.
What about west Dayton? 😂
Haha it's your name 😂and east dayton

This isn’t north vs south this is downtown vs every city on your way to Cincinnati…
Dayton is a run down dump. Have at it and move there. Good luck 👍
Just like all similar sized cities in the US
@@cumulus1234 Na is a super 💩 hole.
People there are losers that don't travel much and are not very motivated. 👎
Do not live in north dayton. Live north of dayton.
😂
You know what’s the best thing to do in Dayton? Pack up and get out 😂
The main thing to remember is that for any city in America with a population of over 1000000, as of 2023 the best thing is to get out, because they are all bad, but Dayton is better than most.
One hundred thousand, not I million
What's so different about anywhere else besides the popular few states
