    Thank you for this! I have the more basic non-track version, but was getting very confused about fitting the blade and the exhaust. I have now done it, and taken the plunge. I cut up some big fitted wardrobes so I can fit them in my car for the dump - hooray!

    Awesome video, super helpful and thorough. I thought I was going to buy this saw then I saw they do bundles with 1.4m or 2.8m tracks. So i got one of those instead, the big kit is perfect for full length cuts in 8x4 boards.

    Great overview, I always wanted a track saw but in many cases I would rather use a table saw, pretty sure if I do more track saw projects someone would love to get this used.

    Great video, very detailed! 👍
    What doesn't make sense is the 3 ft track, could have added that extra foot and charged a bit more.
    Aside from that and being corded, this saw certainly has it's perks.

      Totally agree! Not sure why they wouldn’t sell it straight out with the 4ft section. Thanks for watching!

      @@TheToughGuysTV you can purchase 1 full track which is 1400mm which is approx' 4½ft.

    The saw, for the price, is really ok. Just important to point that the track is not straight. When assembling it you can adjust the segments slightly to make it true straight.

    That rubber piece on the end of the track that the blade rubs up against so you know how long it last and or where to get replacements? Thanks

      I don't know but I wondered if your saw cut the edge of the white off? How do I set it to cut out further past the white strip?

    Looks like an ok saw, but what about bevel cuts? That is also important. I have to down grade this from 5 stars to 3 stars!! 🤭🤭

    How weird, my evolution Track Saw has a safety button.
    I did not like the 3 section tracks and I purchased an Evolution 2 x 1400mm tracks. Works brilliantly!

      @TheToughGuysTV  4 місяці тому

      @wburtney5154 I haven’t noticed cuts out of square yet personally, used it this past weekend building a shop sign for the shop, used the track and my 4ft level for a video to show getting a straight cut two ways.

      @@TheToughGuysTV once the track is setup it works perfect for short cuts. With the Grove in the base one could make tracks of any length with 5 mm plywood, vinyl grip and a hardwood or aluminum guide. I bought the saw to rip steel.

    Evolution really do have a serious allergy to making their tools even remotely competent at dust extraction.
    I own a Rage 3S mitre which has horrific dust extraction and a Rage 5 S contractors table saw, which has great big gaps in the lower dust shroud under the blade resulting in piles of sawdust under the tablesaw.
    A college had this track saw and I was appalled at how much dust it threw everywhere compared to even the cheapest of track saws I've seen used.
