This came out in 1982; I could not help observing Haruna Ishola's attempt to embrace the disco genre through the very upbeat tempo in a way that recalled Bob Marley's 1980 number "Could You Be Loved?". It was as if both very prominent representatives of two durable music forms were desperate to jump ship and sign on to a more "mainstream", more "crossover" music form with far greater mass appeal. They were both wrong; disco was already on its last legs even by then!
