As much as we'd all like it to have been Odalia, it does make more sense that he'd go for Raine. Odalia's nothing special, unless you count cheesy sales pitches and bad parenting as important skills of course, but Raine is a coven head. If you're gonna possess someone, possess someone who's actually useful.

I'm not saying Odalia's the innocent person in this show, but no one deserves this kind of treatment from Belos, especially Raine. I'd want Odalia to suffer for what she did to her family, Amity's friends, and for helping Belos with the Draining Spell.

it seems funny for me because it felt so obsesses that it would be Raine that we got thrown when we saw Belos behind Odella we were shocked that he went for Raine instead but the writers knew that we wouldn't be sad to see Odella poised that when it was Raine we all were sadden but shouldn't have been because people hate Odella but love Raine

I love not just another avarage fangirls reaction that's us to. I know why he did it though. It's basically fact that evilan was a clawthorn , so eda is her great times 100 grand child or smthn so he is taking his petty revenge on her for something she did not do. First with only there being one spot in the coven and then making Lilith try to cetch her. Bringing a deep wedge between sisters. And then Raine being a coven head to de-stress eda even more now choosing to posses them. One so no one would dare stack Raine especially eda who is one of the most powerful forces with her harpy forme and bard spell. Two to couse eda pain seeing her beloved rainestorm in this kind of parell can break a woman even with her tuigh shell.
