I think that the collecter assumed you could just fix humans aswell because everytime belos killed a Grimwalker a new one would appear
I am fairly sure belos made the grim walkers. Not that they just appear.

Or because belos used titan magic to get rid of Luz his magic didn't work, which also means it's probably for the best the collector didn't attack him 😅
It's funny that Dana has said that in her original version of the story the Collector was not a major player. They existed as some backstory for how Belos got as powerful as he did, but he was never meant to be a major force. When the show was canceled obviously plans had to be changed, and the Collector was made into a much more important figure.
The team did amazing, especially with the unfortunate circumstances around the show. Even if this wasn't exactly the story that they wanted to tell, it was still amazing

This maybe biased but think I like this ending better as it feels cooler and develops everyone in a way I like and gives Luz's mum more story importance.
But I this is the first I've heard of this shit so maybe they would've done this too.

King's dad indicates that as "both king and queen" he gave birth to King and that the Titans reproduce asexually, meaning there can be more Titans in the future when King's grown up!

@@awesomeman2245 The _context_ for him quoting King was to explain who he is when Luz assumed he is King's dad. "I think King said it best once: I am both king and queen, best of both things," meaning "I am actually _both_ his dad and mom." He than adds that calling him just dad is fine.
When King's dad says he's "both king and queen". I'm just thought he was referring the grom episode. When King took Luz's grom tiara and wears it saying "I'm now both king and queen"
Hunter's new palisman is named Waffles, and Dana said that she thinks of Waffles as Flapjack's little sister.

I agree. Of the trifecta (Gravity Falls x Amphibia x Owl House) endings, Owl House has become my favorite one. (Followed by Gravity Falls, and Amphibia 3rd.)
It is so goddamned RARE when a series ends in a way that doesn't make you feel like complete crap, especially after the wake of many character deaths and countless loose ends that were never given a closure that makes you feel like you can leave this story satisfied.
Like Ruffsenpai I was already bracing myself for the worst because of the sheer amount of series (specifically anime) that basically eviscerate any hope or wish that you hold for the characters/series in your heart. (I honestly thought we'd lose Rain and Collector, and thank god my most morbid premonitions were proven wrong. 😭)
Some series tend to end pretty mild, while others were absolute disappointments and (quite sadly) a waste of my time. But Owl House doesn't fit in either of those categories.
And what's more it's a feeling of "This isn't goodbye, this is a see you later. If you ever feel like coming for a visit, feel free you weirdo. The door is always open to you." (As someone wisely put it, it gives the welcoming feeling for future generations.)
Very few have ever left me with such a mixed feeling of satisfaction, a tinge of bittersweet sadness, and yet an overwhelming feeling of contentment that makes me want to do it all over again because of how much I loved this series.
Other shows/anime that have given the same sense include 'Parks & Recreation' and 'Gintama', both of which give that same "come back anytime, buddy" feel that the Owl House also gives. And I couldn't be any happier for Dana Terrace and the team, and what they had accomplished against the odds.
I consider this and all the others ended the same way the adventure time finale went as it came summed up as " The end is not the end just a new beginning" or at least "The more things change the more they also stay the same".
It is just me or when belos started spreading himself across the boaling Isle's remind anyone of resident evil 7 biohazard. But in this case belos is like Evelyn.

This was an amazing finale. I also wanted to say, a fun animated adult series to react to is The Legend of Vox Machina. It has two seasons out, and a third is in production.

I'm a little disappointed they couldn't show us what happened between Philip, Caleb and Evelyn. I really hope Dana considers making a special episode in the future, even if it's out of Disney.
yeah I wish they were able to go into more detail on that but with the cards they've been dealt, it's no wonder that they couldn't. I also kinda wish we actually found out what happened between alador and Darius 😭
The saddest thing is that they had every chance to reveal all this better, but they decided to give it up for the sake of inept fanservice, which breaks the narrative and the logic of the actions of some characters. Okay, I can forgive the possession of the titan nonsense, but they could explain it better and not make Belos an imbecile who did not understand for 50 years what kind of heart it is. Rain is absolutely not needed here, Belos could possess Hooty just as well, in this case it was even possible to save some precious timing. And much more, the description of which took me two sheets of A4.

The collector might be one of my all time favourite characters. And little more hurts me than the scene where they realize what happened to Luz. It's horribly realistic.
So much so, I think the wailing star is actually one of their siblings.

magic does work in the human world tho they had a full whole magic fight in the last few minutes of the 2 ep that was all them the cards was for the shapeshifter girl to keep her fake appearance up

I wonder, does every animated show's creator need to be good or experianced animator like dana terrace, butch hartman and Vizepop? And can somebody who is not experianced animator or sketch artist can become a animated show creator?
How do you think vivziepop became experienced? She started off on youtube with some sketches and she progressed over the years and made helluva boss by herself. If you make a good enough animated like viv you can make something as big as hazbin hotel one day too
belos is a top tier baby girl
Fun detail: the kid they removed the sigil from, is the same one we watched get that sigil all the way back in "Covention". He was the first person we actually watched get a sigil.
Couple fun things:
• The “now eat this sucker!!!!!” line is a reference to the very first episode :)
• Luz standing over Belos while he melts mirrors Caleb standing over him in the second episode of this season
• Belos ironically melted like the Wicked Witch of the West despite his insistence that he’s better than the witches
I hadn't even thought about that last point. I love it!!
The name of Hunter new palisman is waffles, and I love how Luz and her friends get matching tattoos of Flapjack

This was a fantastic Finale, so here are some fun facts about the ending:
- The Titan aka King’s dad is voiced by Arin Hanson
- If you notice all of the 5 main kids have a Flapjack tattoo, & that Luz has Amity’s necklace while Eda & Raine have exchanged earrings
- Speaking of Hunter’s new blue jay palisman was confirmed by the creator to be named Waffle
- When Luz defeated Belos she says “Now Eat This Sucka” is the same words form the Good Witch Azura in Ep.1
- During Belos spreading over the titan I am reminded of the movie Evolution

Fun fact! You noticed raine's palismon was a fox, it's actually been visible the entire time as their violin! If you look closely you can see the end of their violin has a fox head.

I love how the ending feels like we reached the renaissance of the boiling Isles with the death of Belos signifying the end of their dark age as everything seems to have a new advancements arising.
Bruh. Every reactor has the scene of Camila tearing up, and I'm all for it. I truly believe that she sensed Luz's "death" or at the very least something terrible happened.
Fun fact: the timeskip in the end is about the same as as long as the show ran, meaning if you were the same age as luz when the shoe began, after the time skip, you'd both be the same age again
The Owl House was such a magical series, sad to see it go excited for whatever is next (Infinity Train and Kipo are my top picks still)

Maybe it's just me, but on top of being a total "dad" stereotype, Papa Titan gives me some Sans from Undertale vibes.
I love how in the epilogue, the gang all have Flapjack tattoos, Eda and Raine have traded earrings, and Luz is wearing Amity's necklace. They built the Wild Magic University where the palace and Titan's heart was, and who better to lead it than the wildest witch there is?
Honestly, while I love this ending, it just didn't hit me quite like Amphibia's ending did. Fans were worried that the portal would be closed permanently and Luz wouldn't be able to return to the Demon Realm, but I'm sure they knew that if Lumity got broken up there would have been _actual_ riots.
I got to meet some of the Voice actors at comicon while I cosplayed as Titan Luz. It means so much to me! This whole show was like an anthem to my childhood dreams.

Weird thing, but apparently it wasn't canceled for any LGBT stuff... instead it was a panick/rushed/autopilot decision during the pandemic budget cuts.

It hasn't been quite confirmed what the reason was, but Disney finally admitted by season 3 that they made a mistake as the owl house is more popular than they initially thought
Nothing will ever make more angry than knowing that this show had its potential taken away, not wasted, TAKEN AWAY
The magic cards were for Vee's benefit, because she's a basilisk who needs to feed on magic. The glyphs didn't work in the human realm until Luz was close enough to a source of Titan's blood for them to work.
And Belos himself said that he had a harder time finding the glyphs (in the time-travel episode)--like it was done on purpose. The Titan made it easier for Luz to find the glyphs because she was kind to his son.
Dana and her team did an amazing job wrapping things up, and I do hope she gets to release a journal (similar to the one for Gravity Falls) for The Owl House.
Soo, aside from a heartwarming ending of the entire show, what do you guys think of Titan Luz?😊😊😊

Nothing is ever going to convince me that Luz wasn't responsible for bringing the acid rain at Belos's death. That's pretty dark and mature. I don't have a problem with it! It was an epic and well deserved death scene, but still that's pretty dark.
It would be great if we get novels that Dana said she would like to make, but regardless, she and the crew did an amazing job and deserve all the praise in the world. (The fact Arin Hanson from freaking Game Grumps voices King's dad is awesome! 😂)

I wish we could peek into an alternate universe and see what this show could have been if it had been given the full support it deserved. The fact Dana and crew were able to make what we got under the circumstances they were dealing with is nothing short of incredible.

This finale definitely had me in tears. I almost cried to both Gravity falls and Amphibias finale but this one outta the trilogy was definitely the most emotional. Ngl it felt like it was more emotional than me watching Mugen train for demon slayer cause I only cried at the end, but here I cried alot! A massive thanks to Dana and the crew for making such an amazing story thats for sure
Luz had the same death as Anne from amphibia by being disintegrated and then being revived by a god/powerful being
This show was the best. Fuck Disney for ending it too soon. Thank you to Dana for giving us this incredible show despite everything that happend.
in the human world, the witches could use magic because witch magic is not the same as titian magic. witch magic comes from the heart. AKA a sack of bile attach to the heart so they had their own source of magic. Luz could not use magic until they were close to Titian blood and Vee needed to eat magic
and worth noting Palisman have their own source of magic so Luz always has magic if she has Stringbean
I could gush for hours on all the little details I loved about this finale, but that would take too long, so I'll simply say this:
Thank you Owl House. You truly were a wonderful experience and though its bittersweet, I'm glad I was able to be there for all of it even to the end.
And on a personal note. Thanks to you all for inspiring me to watch this. I had heard good things about this series before you guys started reacting to it, but after a couple episodes I was hooked enough to watch the rest ahead of your schedule. And I'm glad to have been a fan of this show as this Finale aired.

I just noticed but Eda has Raine’s earring and Raine has Eda’s; they are married cause of that in my mind
this episode was such a satisfying finale in so many ways and did so much well. i was just a little sad to think about all the extra things we could've gotten if we only had more time. we can only hope we get more owl house content in some form.
two of my personal hangups are that we barely got v screentime and that we never really got to delve into hunter's trauma and see him work through that. i'll just have to assume that offscreen he's seeing a therapist lol. we also didn't get much of him being a part of the noceda family in the finale so i also am just going to assume he bounces around his adoptive parents/families (darius, the clawthornes, and camila)
+ the fact that they made the final 3 episodes spell out thanks for watching makes me want to scream and sob. so much love went into this show. im really going to miss it. there's something about. when people get to make their passion project and share that with the world and they're just so thankful to have gotten the chance and for the support they've received even if they get screwed over. it's very heartwarming to see and makes me really emotional.
also can we all just applaud the crew for not going "friendship and forgiveness is always the answer, even for people who are the scum of the earth" they said F THAT stomp this man's corpse. love everything said about/the actions taken towards belos this episode. he really is one of the best villains i've seen in a long time, not even just in cartoons.
also after having time to process. im pretty disappointed hunter wasn't able to get in on the belos stomping. if anyone deserved to be there it was him. but i understand why they weren't able to do it like that, and time restraints etc etc. i can headcanon that luz and eda saved a scrap of belos to bring back so hunter could stomp on it lol
+ something i connected on my first watch that idk if other people mentioned but luz's titan form feels a little bit like a nod to the bodyswap episode in s1 in which king was in luz's body so she had his eyes and fang.

I don't think that the collector can actually be killed. I think that archivists are immortal, thus why the Titan trapped him. If the fungus had grown over him, I think his body would just have dispersed and reappeared when belos died. There was a whole mention of how titans are stronger than him even though they're mortal, which implies that he isn't mortal.
It wasn't befriending the Titan that gave her magic. Belos/Philip didn't befriend the Titan. He radiates magical energy that's why she can't use the glyphs in the human world, an now that Papa Titan is gone she can't do magic. But now as King grew older he started also radiating magical energy and now the glyphs are back, but I think that the glyphs looks different now.
This final fight was epic! And the music was amazing!
#danaterrace is Very Smart.... She & the Writing Crew purposely left questions unanswered and potential future challenges for Luz, Vee, Eda, The Collector, Amity, etc. as a way to leave the (portal) door 🚪 open for future Owl 🦉 House storylines.
Ended on such a HIGH note!

Raine really is powerful, not only were they able to purge Belos from their body on their own; but they were able to chase after him after doing that
remember when Belos possessed Hunter and then WILLINGLY left his body and it (temporarily) killed Hunter

there is magic in the human realm. but not titan magic. the other kids could us it just fine. vee is a basilisk they and only they siphon magic to use to transform. from items or creature. the glyphs worked in the human realm but only in the presence of the titans blood it was powering them. kings blood wouldn't do it properly, with papa titans glyphs. had to come from papa titan. this was made clear at the end of season 1 when luz lilith and king went through. notice that the glyph didn't do nothing like when kings not there, it sort of fizzled out of existence like it failed. because it wasn't kings glyph and he was the only titan there
