Man it’s just crazy how much everybody hated Lilith but now she’s a fan favourite this is a pretty good scene to show how much we hated her after finding out she cursed eda.
I felt as though she got off too easy, and despite using Luz as a literal pawn against Eda, she was almost instantly forgiven by everyone.
My biggest flex is that I never hated lillith after she cursed eda. For some reason I always like the "villains" (except for belos).

I have a feeling that the creator of the show will amp up the big moments before the show is over. This moment was to just prepare the audience for what's to come... bwhahaha! Lol!

The almost perfectly synchronized "OH SHIT" when Eda first teleports in is truly a sign of masterful storytelling and art.
Ah, the sisters fighting, leading to Lilith confessing that she cursed Eda. That was a big hit in the gut for Eda, and it shocked me. Also, the animation was pretty good here in the fight scene

2:18 - 2:49 I like how as soon as Lilith yells out her little secret, about eight different UA-camrs start cursing her out at once. To this day, this is still one of the best betrayal scenes in The Owl House.
Still one of the best, most epic dialogues of the series... between "but then how pathetic are you, that you can't beat me at my worst" ; "I AM better than you" and "then WHY were you SO easy to CURSE", omg
Funny thing that Lilith frantically covered her mouth after she said "curse", which also defines as an offensive word to express anger or annoyance. And most people immediately cover their mouths after accidentally cursing via profanity.
Or people do that when they say something that they shouldn't have, like they're trying to pull it back in.
I like how Lilith went from one of the most hated to being a cool sassy aunt
Looking back at this I kinda miss Eda and Lilith having powers, I know the curse is a huge plot for their character development and all, but damn if these two still had powers I doubt any coven head could win against them. I mean Lilith earned the title for head of the EMPEROR's Coven (yes I believe she's earned it with her own abilities not just Belos's/Philip's whole plan or something) and if she is considered weaker than Eda with a curse what more power does Eda hold without a curse!?
No matter how many times I watch Eda telling Luz "Thanks for being in my life" I will cry every time. I need Mama Eda to be happy when this series is over.
I feel bad for Eda, being betrayed by her own sister.

@@GiovanniCloud yep, we saw luz HATE her guts, but it stopped after a sob story. Lilith literally tried to kill her and caused mental and physical pain to her sister for years out of jealousy and didnt have the guts to tell the truth, ffs bc of her, her dad lost his eye.

I don't actually remember Eda ever saying "I forgive you" to her though...did she?
I felt like it was probably rushed since the show writers probably had to fit all the important arcs in because of the cut
I think this speed was more due to the fact that Lilith cursed herself to help eda, besides there is no greater torture than showing herself superior in a situation like this, especially when you're dealing with someone like lili who thinks she's very smart
A great duel of witches or between sisters.
My favorite part of all of this is EdDaWiz screaming "The budget! The budget!" because of how fluid the fight animation is.
Eda isn't there to duel, she's there to fight

It's not like she gave her sister cancer and then got mad because her parents were paying more attention to their sick child. And then Lilith, for 30 years, refused to be a good sister, not only treating Eda as inferior but also hunted her down.
But, hey, it's not like that happened, right?
@@SirSadness it's completely understandable if you don't like her, you can't love all the characters. but the fact that she tried to redeem herself shows both sides of a character. you can't focus on all the bad things she did.
@@SirSadness Lillith got off too easy. What she did in season one needs to be addressed, and she needs to take accountability for what she did not just to Eda but to the other members of the Owl House.

She always referred to Eda as bellow her, and hunted her down. She didn't tell the truth either. Can you imagine how much Eda suffered with this damn curse? No friends, no lovers, no stability, constantly scared, excluding herself from society, and the list goes on.
You're really defending the person who threw Luz in a pit of spikes AND THEN PUSHED HER TOWARDS THEM?!
I can 100% judge and focus only on the bad parts, because for each good thing, there are at least 10 bad ones.

Okay but how I figured out how Lilith cursed Eda is, I just was introduced to Lilith at the time, then I was scrolling on tiktok one day and I heard a tiktok audio saying “I am better than you, then why were you so easy to curse?!” You know I didn’t think much of the audio just thought it was a regular audio, then I watched like 3 more episodes and realized that the person who said “I am better than you” sounded like Eda. Yea I still didn’t think much of it but three days later I was just thinking of the audio in my head but I forgot the next line. I was thinking “was it so easy to kill, no, maybe, wait that’s not possible for someone to say that to a dead person, was it curse-“ then that’s when I spoiled it without looking it up for once 😑
