Can We Get This Shed to the Top of Crossman Peak Without Falling Over the Edge?

- @MerlinsOldSchoolGarage and Makay are off on an adventure for KNLB Advance Ministries, Inc. to get this shed to the top of the mountain. Josh called upon Merlin to complete the job because the road up to the top of the mountain is steep, winding, narrow, and scary... there was NO WAY to pull a trailer up to the top. Take the adventure for yourself to see how crazy all these guys are! Elevation 5103 ft
Thanks for watching!

Everyone needs friends like Makay and Brad that will climb in no matter what craziness you are up to. Another good episode.
Exactly 💯 Cheers Cape Town 🇿🇦🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Just a good old fashioned work truck doing the hard job that today's fancy new trucks can't!
That's why I own a 79 highboy
Sad that today's Dandified Trucks costing too close to $100,000 have to be so highly modified to do the same job as something we bought for less than $3,500 back in the day before 1970.
Try to tell a kid today that back in the 1960's you could call Dodge Fargo and order the E20 Custom Special Package to then specify your own options such as having the factory take the driveline from a W600 truck and narrow the track to fit in a W200 plus switch the engine to a 440 instead of the 383, put the military PTO winch on it, add Detroit Lockers or Limited Slip front and rear, etc, etc, etc. Kids called mine The Beast and would ask what shop customized it and had a hard time believing it was all OEM Factory. Downside was that you had to remember to order W600 parts when working on the driveline.
Today they'd probably charge us $200,000 or more for those $3,500 trucks.
Best!
So you're "broadcast engineering" now too!! That's what I do for a living. Good work, brother.
Hey we one of those here…
NorCal ... my dad was chief engineer for several radio stations ... spent much time riding out to remote locations on weekends to check on/install/repair equipment and/or take meter readings. Always an adventure squeezing between barb wires to cross a field of cattle, dodging rattlesnakes on the backside of Mt Diablo, hiking in the last mile of a couple of peaks up in Napa/Sonoma because a road had washed away, and various similarly accessibility-challenged locations in the Mother Lode. Sketchy dirt/gravel roads, amazing views, lots of 'are we there yet' and family picnic time. Tubes. Teletypes. Great times; loved it all!
Many people are not aware of the work required for everyone to have radio, or cell service, across the country. Great video guys. God bless you guys😊😊😊😊😊
Your good people's Merlin ✌️ thanks for the share, heck of a veiw
Mighty fine engineering going on with that Porsche. Don’t know how you measure where brackets need welding in? Totally amazing.
Base drum peddles make cool gas peddles. I actually have one on a 25 t bucket that has Loud Peddle molded in as the face of the peddle. Found it at an antique shop for $10
Great job delivering the shed to the top of Crossman Peak. The Porsche build is coming along good Merlin. Nice to see McKay taking the ride with you! Pretty scenery!
You could say merlin your helping spreading the word of God by helping them spread the word God bless you merlin

Thank you, Merlin, for helping out a good cause. Christian Ministries are important to give people the good news of Jesus Christ.
AMEN!!
I'm a long-term viewer and I'm quite surprised of the fabrication table you chose to weld up those brackets😮
Right, surprised me. But hey, what ever is available and gets the job done.👍🏻
Merlin you’re a man with many talents. Learning a lot watching your videos. Thank you and your wife for the great videos.
You keep on amazing me, Merlin. The original OG of fabrication at it's finest. Thanks for taking us subscriber's along for the ride. Love the channel. Keep up the great work.🪄🪄🪄✌️👍🤙🤙🍀🍀🍀🍀🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲.

Porches is really a work of art
Thanx for sharing your experience with your trip on the mountain for the Ministries
Have a Great Day 👍
God Bless America 🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸
I love them old buses! ❤
Pretty Cool Country 😎 👌 👍
You guys are an inspiration. As a guy who grew up in the 1950-60s it amazes me how much sketchy sh#t we got up to, and got away with it. A lot of us were raised by WW2 vets, no explanation necessary.LOL!
Merlin, I couldn't agree more. Always stop and help a friend in need.
Havasu nice day today
Great job 👍🏻
Beautiful views 😍
Merlin, performing his magic as always. Catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Awesome video Merlin!!! Oh and that was definitely awesome to see you haul a shed clear up that mountain and that would definitely not be something that you would find me doing for sure!!! Not because I wouldn’t want to help them out but just thinking about that red dump truck that was scattered all over the mountain on the way up and on the way down!!! I’m not so sure I could handle that!!! Lol!!! Awesome video once again buddy!!!!
Ferrari gas pedal-- but where's the Cummins going to fit? 🙂
I enjoy, I am reminded, I learn and it's awesome to watch a real UA-cam channel that's not just out for anything to get views. Merlin I wish u great luck with all u do.
Merlin, you seem to get so much accomplished in a very short time!
What a beautiful drive up and down the mountain Merlin. Taikuu for taking us along. Hello McKay..
Casey LaDelle and Matt's Offroad Recovery are still doing Snow Recoveries as Merlin is seeing 100-degree temperatures.
Awesome video! One more step getting done. Thank you for sharing!😊
This is going to be a really special project. You even fitted a part from one of my favorite sports cars on it. I’ve always wanted a Ferrari. A little community service is always wonderful for the sole. Great job 👍
Great unselfish work by Merlin as predicted. Fun guy, always enjoy his experiences, thanks for sharing 😀🇺🇸
At least it a well maintained road.
All the transmitter sites I’ve gone to are all ridiculously steep roads.
Some don’t qualify as a “road”…
Love ur show!
John
Welcome back McKay. Good to see you again
You do really good work, Merlin!
You never cease to amaze me with your skills! Sometime I would like to see a video of your back story.
Merlin, now you and McKay know what we "Ham" radio operators go thru to get our repeaters up and running on mountain tops! It's a labor of love. Well, not my repeater at the top of the Palm Springs tram, we go up there, and it's a smooth ride.. LOL We may be bringing McKay some mesquite for his BBQ / Smoker this weekend. Thats a NICE ride, compared to Toro peak, Snow peak, Black Mountain, Chuckwalla mountain, Guadalupe etc.etc. LOL. Love it.
Your a good man merlin! The world needs more people like you!
Boy that was huge help hauling the shed. Not just any one could do it 💪
Two ways down the mountain. The right way, and the fast way. Looks like the dump truck found the fast way.
That "road" up the mountain was a whole lot steeper than how it looked in the video. Old truck did good for a good cause. Porche coming along nicely.
That was a cool ride up that mountain. Glad you offered to take MacKay. Nice way to spend the day and do a good deed. Mucho good karma coming your way.
I'd like to have even half the knowledge in Merlins brain!
100 degrees!?!?
Glad I’m in Iowa!
But, it is a dry heat!😂
We live north of Polk City.
What part of Iowa are you from?
@@haroldphipps3457 West of Dport. Do you know about the part of Iowa that looks like a nose? I’m the booger
@@Noone-jn3jp 😁
Super Cool Video Merlin! 😎
Yepp, radio tower technicians are a regular customer of Matt in Utah - because they always have to use sketchy dirt roads to get to the towers on the hilltops. Just add rain or snow for the unavoidable recovery call. 😜🤟
Worked for one company that had several mountain top communication radios. 2.) Assisted an amateur radio group with mountain top repeater repair, (what I think made me worth knowing to this group, was my long-bed 4x4 pickup truck). 😆. Mountain top views are stunning in locations with long range views. Appreciate you sharing and videoing your drive up and down the hill.
Doesn't that kit come with plans
Appreciate the video and thanks for helping the radio station . ✝️ 🙏🇺🇸🔨🔧🛠️👍
Keep the great work hope you have a great week and almost done planting corn after planting corn can buid cars
LOOKING GOOD!......... GOOD JOB!
Nice trip up the mountain. Can’t wait to see the Porsche running 🤙😎
2 acts of kindness.
Always time to help out your friends! Merlin you’re probably sitting on a bank of return favors just in case!
Great work for helping the ministry may God bless you like all the videos you post
Merlin you should bring a model t and go check out Brent underwood at cerro Gordo mines in California. Cool old stuff and it would be a cool collaboration video. Love the content as always!
Nice trail up the mountain!
Porsche is looking good.
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Merlin please please put some deep dish fuch style rims on the Porsche it’ll look so good 😎
Wild trip up the mountain, Great views, Porsche gonna be very neat add to collection.
Thanks for helping out the Christian radio station! I know they must be very grateful.
That's a sweet ride up the mountain great job helping that Christian radio station out
Beautiful trip up on the mountain, and love watching the 550 build, Thing is going to be soo cool.
I owned one of that model but it was a window van. Drove it from Vancouver Island to the central Yukon on the Cassiar Highway and back to Dawson Creek on the Alaska Highway (both unpaved) until the motor threw a piston.
I was a farrier and took shoes and tools with me and hung a burlap sack on the front between the mirrors and the bumper that said Old Horseshoeing Blacksmithing Coal on it. When the van died and when I took the burlap sack off the front of it there was an impression of the black tail deer I had hit with in in the front behind the sack between those dinky little turn indicators. 1200 cc motor. You could get the motor out faster than you could get the bumper loose.
I traded it for a 65 Chevy panel truck and drove that to Eastern Ontario where I got turned around at the US border so I turned around and drove back to Vancouver Island.
It was a good van in the snow and they are always fun to drive because of where you sit in them. A head of the wheels.
the spyders coming along nicely. nice scenery on the mountain too, although i wouldnt wanna go over the edge of that. weather is good too, it certainly beats the rain we have here in Scotland 95% of the time lol, thanks for sharing
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, adventure on the mountain 🌄👍😁
I glad you found a Belt stretcher to help your Buddy !
Awesome 😎👍
Nice Spider build looks like a lot of fun The Road trip to deliver a shed really cool. They don't make those kind of cars where everything is interchangeable The cars today are like a bag of jelly beans they all look the same just different colors. Take care.
Hi Merlin, awesome video going up the mountain.
Funny stories on the VW belt........years ago I had a 68 bug with an 1835 barely 18yrs old. My girlfriend and I were driving home from camping with friends up in the Sierra Nevada's and lost my belt, nothing but woods and a road. We somehow ran into a bar in the middle of nowhere just as the battery was almost dead. A kind gentleman there had his wife give up her panty hose, fixed me up and we made it home LOL
Reminds me of the old drill roads. I used to have to drive. I used to see a lot of beautiful countries that way.
Once again, loving the music that is playing with the content!!
December of the year there’s only a couple times a day that ride the evening and very early morning. I plan to go up north to the Pines to do some riding and camping 65 years old here and I will never give up riding.
Thanks for beautiful views
Isn’t it fun to do what you wanna do you’re a good man Merlin enjoy your site👍✊🇺🇸🍺
Very cool old bus that, awesome scenery on that fairly epic road.
Awesome video Merlin, keep up the good work!
Excellent video, as always Merlin....
Always enjoy your videos, now aren't you a little afraid of welding around that fiber glass and catching fire
Very nice old Porsche. If you think about it, the A550 was 1.5 liters, 135 hp and 240km/ fast. Great car from old Ferdinand. That's right, many VW and Porsche parts are 100% identical. Before Ferdinand founded Porsche, he was at VW, and Ferdinand had already developed some models for VW during the war. Merlin laughs, I think Enzo and Ferdinand are sitting upstairs laughing at the misery of today's cars. Great Video Merlin. Greetings from Frankfurt Gerold
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
What a ride Merlin.........
I like your welding table
consistently the best music
Saw a sticker on an Old VW Bus, 'My German is a little Rusty' ...... lol.
Love the views good show as always thank you kindly
Hi Merlin. Did some research on that engine. It came from a B-25J from Yuma Army Airfield. It crashed Aug. 11 1945 in bad weather.
Hope you have good breaks for the return trip back down the mountain.
You go merlin good deal and the car looking good you and robby Laytons guy Shaun would seriously dangerous building some custom metal fab
