Unbelievable. ALL of you. How is the comment section just a cesspool of people assuming the worst and being proud about how they all bet it was an idiot young person? This man lost his girlfriend, and everyone in that car. For fucks sake, THERE WAS A CEMENT BLOCK THAT FELL OUT OF A TRUCK IN FRONT OF HIM AND HE SWERVED TRYING TO AVOID WHATEVER FELL OUT OF THE TRUCK. - MAN if you all just knew, sometimes.. or atleast just, hoped for the best for those who were actually in the situation.. this isn't a soap opera, this is actual real life. I have no idea how to articulate or stress this enough. I hope if the driver sees this, you know that there are subreddit posts where 100% of everyone on it is rooting for you, praying for you and sending SO much love for your loss. And most importantly, they ALL know the facts of what happened that day.
How do you know any of that information without being in the car, knowing the people involved or being one of the responders? Or you were driving the truck that the cement block was on?
@ysabellahenderson4663 is absolutely right! There are too many people passing judgement in what they know nothing about. There was in fact a concrete block on the road. My family members were the first on the scene. One of them removed the block from the middle of the road to prevent more accidents. This is a country road - stuff happens. To all the self-righteous townies passing judgement, go take a long walk of a short pier. Anything can happen on roads like this - kangaroos, animals, ice, potholes, you name it. This bloke has already lost everything - have some compassion. No one is above ending up in similar situations...
Sorry but not everyone could be in such a position. The guy was speeding and on a suspended licence. He has been charged. He killed three people due to bad decisions.
Best to stay off the roads with all the idiots on drugs, drunk, falling asleep at the wheel, speeding, inattention using mobile phones, it's a lottery out there.

It is unfortunately. Reminds me of that crash where a young man killed five of his friends after speeding and smashing the Ute into a tree. The driver was the only survivor. Happens that way as you will instinctively drive to stay alive..and let your passengers take the full force of the impact.
Sad , definitely, but you do not have to be flying to roll a car over , and people drive off the road all the time , sometimes they are just unfortunate accidents nothing whatever to do with speed , people get distracted , get tired and fall asleep , sometimes they are from medical issues , on very rare occasions there can be mechanical failures , of course there are other reasons that cause accidents, sometimes due to very human failings such as booze , drugs , etc . Or just plain foolishness of people . Jumping to conclusions it being just speed is making huge assumptions. No doubt they will tell us when they know what the cause was. Sad. Was on that road the same day. The driver must have been flying to roll the car on a clear day on that section of the road. An avoidable tragedy

It’s a bad road. I drive it all the time.plenty of potholes. The police have already suggested speed was a factor.
