Nice car! I used the same product and been 9 months and still good! After I paint corrected and buffed, but also I used alcohol and sprayed the area I was going to apply to remove any oils/residue before I added the coating. 👍🏻
Laminado y Pintura household rubbing alcohol with a mist spray. I don’t soak the area, just a light spray and quickly use a microfiber to remove. I’ve now use mothers ceramic spray just to touch up (kinda like a conditioner which is cheap for a big spray bottle) so I don’t know if the original coat is still on but still hella shiny
I dont know why its too cheap just 2 dollar but its work like 300 dollar coating. Its very shinny and anti scratch, my car no more swirl mark and no more flek
I did thesame thing bought cheap ceramic coating. I haven't waxed my car for 8 months after winter and it still look like the day I put ceramic. Do coatings 2x or 1 a year and never again to use any waxes, just quick detailer to give it extra gloss and the ceramic make it easy to clean and water just bead off. I'm good with that cheap ceramic coatings.. Lol
Once it applied and you want to wash the car, do you still use shampoo(thinking it will remove the coat or nah?) or just water is enough then dry it off?
Define white dots. I got something on my front driver fender just the top of it where it looks like mold or something but nothing will get it off. Maybe it’s these white dots?
car people finally realizing "ceramic nano graphene 100$ gigga coating" is literally the same thing as concreate sealant in small bottles. you know if its advertised on yt the margins are like 100x and you can find it from china for pennies on the dollar
This product protect 3-5 years if you apply it the right way. I have applied it 2 times but there should be a difference of 1 hour between the first application and the second, and cure time 24 hours.
Got this product. Did the clay bar, then polished the paint and wiped it with 70% alcohol. Applied the ceramic coat and waited for about 5 min. When i buffed it using a microfiber cloth, it was so sticky and took a lot of time and effort in buffing. Is this normal?
@@MotoTaco it wasnt sticky when I applied it. It was sticky when i tried to buff and wipe it off. It took time and a lot of effort before it became smooth. Had a hard time thats why I discontinued applying it.
MrFix 9h is supposed to be the fake version that last about 6 months maybe. The fake version is flammable and the real one is not. The real version is 9H Mr-Fix and is claimed to last 2 years. The real one is about $8 instead of $3.
Lmao there’s a knock off of a knock off?????? Wild. But ya some spots haven’t held up as well as other but for the most part it still repels water very well
Lol dude, I thought for a second that Grant Gustin's doing car vlogs on the side! Kidding aside, your vid had me convinced. I chanced upon this product online while shopping for car shampoo. Will definitely give this a try. Thanks!
you can but there's no real need to. Since ceramic coating is supposed to have smaller molecules, it fills in all the cracks. Wax is a much larger molecule, since its a fat, and doesn't fill in all the cracks. So ceramic coat theoretically would leave the surface smooth and the wax wouldn't have anything to stick to.
Can you please describe step by step the application process?
1. Apply coating
2. Wait 5 minutes
3. Wipe it with WET microfiber
4. done?

Do you use pure alcohol or mixed with water or something?

Dish soap would have been better..
Diggers 100% IPA 70/30 mix with water works unreal before waxing after polishing

It’s wild. You may have to apply it every year instead of 2 or 3 like the pricier options, but for a couple bucks I’m happy with that
How long it's suppose to last?
Wah mas you're English is great Keep it up, salam satu negara wkwkwk
What did you do wrong 1st time? Should I try with wet microfiber towel does he needs to be wet from water or from mrfix 9h?

I still do soap and water. It won’t wash it off unless you use a stripping soap

I was never his best student
So when applying what is the sequence after decon and compound?
Wats up bro!
After a year you used this product.
There were no white dots or something?? Thanks

So wait, you apply the ceramic, wipe off with a wet towel, then a dry towel?
Not wipe off but yes
What’s with the purple wheels?😢
Has it faded away yet? Any update?
So how long must you leave the product before rubbing it with wet microfiber?

Love the leaf blower . I'm going to try it good review 😃👍🇬🇧

@@MotoTaco Your car looks good though. 5-6 months protection is good for $3.
Thanks! I think so too plus a lot easier than wax
how is it holding up? what do you reckon a double layer might do?
It’s alright but some areas are wearing like behind the wheels, but a second layer would protect it way more. So next time I plan on doing 2 layers
@@MotoTaco How long did it last?
@@MotoTaco is it still on?
Yes but some areas not as much. Like when I wash the car there are areas that won’t bead the water up anymore.
