Stone Island has been popping off a lot recently, even more so with artists like Drake & Dave promoting the brand on IG. So many people have been asking me for this one so here it is at last!

That's actually quite a good copy but one thing to check if you don't have another item to compare it to is to look at the back of the buttons, real Stone Island has 2 dimples pressed into the button on opposing sides and as far as I am aware the counterfeiters haven't cottoned on to this yet. Although that may change soon.

But I got 5 stone island jackets and some clothes and my classmates always bully me they saying “made in china” and other things but it’s real I bought it from the original site and I even made a screenshot that I ordered a jacket but they still bully me they are just jealous. A Closer Look thats what most people think but actually if you look closely the stitching should always match the colour lf the garment. E.g. blue, black, beige etc.

What surprised me is, that the Certilogo doesn't work. If you type in the code they recognize it is stone island. But on original products it will give you the option to say "It was a gift" meanwhile on the fakes you have to type in the store where you got it from.
I tested both codes on certilogo... both are fake xD

@@luc1.025 because if more and more people put the code on certilogo to check then certilogo will think that the authentic code has been put onto fake clothes so that when you go and look it up on the website it comes up as real. They pretty much disabled that code, that's why people nowdays cover up their certilogo when they're selling

How to read the art number:
The two numbers at the beginning of the art number indicate the year/season of manufacture
2000 33 32
2001 35 34
2002 37 36
2003 39 38
2004 41 40
2005 43 42
2006 45 44
2007 47 46
2008 49 48

2010 53 52
2011 55 54
2012 57 56
2013 59 58
2014 - and beyond using CERTILOGO.
Certilogo only uses one code for one Stone Island item, never the same.
Now the next two numbers show the brand of Stone Island products
13 = c.p.under sixteen
14 = s.i.denims
15 = Stone Island
16 = s.i.junior
20 = c.p.donna
18 = CP Company
The next number indicates the type of clothing
1 = Shirts
2 = T-Shirts
3 = Trousers
4 = Jackets
5 = Knitwear
6 = Sweatshirts
9 = Accessories
It's very rare for this section to be changed to letters except for some "wow" models and not always. However, if you replace it with a new letter, you will find something like this:
A = Jacket/Blazer
B = Swimming Trunks
G = Waistcoat
L = Bermuda Shorts
M = Jacket
S = Shoes

I have a couple of stone island sweatshirts including the one in this video, they are very good quality…..though I think £250 is a bit excessive…….marshal artist jumpers are a nice alternative with a more affordable price point…….and Lyle and Scott…..I would never buy fakes though, people aren’t stupid, they can tell if your jumper is clearly fruit of the loom with a badge stuck on! 😂
Real stone island badge Will always have white stitching on the back unlike the fake which is black stitching.

you can tell which one is fake in 10 seconds max just feel the material from the inside the fake is way to shit to compare with the real one,i mean that when i want to buy something but i'm not sure if is genuine i just check the material and is enough for me ...you can fell the difference between a philipp plein shirt vs H&M and even H&M is better than a lot of fakes....btw keep up the good work

Ok, so everything matched with the real one except the back of my badge looked like the fake one, but i typed in the number on the tag at it said it was authentic

where did you buy the stone island fake?
I have a stone island jumper that has most of the real features including the rectangle under the badge, good button quality, back of the badge is the same as the real one. But two things make me wonder if it’s real or fake, the badge size doesn’t seem to be the same as everyone else’s (not sure if that’s cos it’s a junior one) and the tags at the bottom of the jumper have 3 pages with the EAC logo but no qr code. Any advice would be much appreciated

Folks.... Always ask for Art numbers. If it dont have an art number dont bother with it cause its not REAL. Each number means something like season and year it was produced,what kind of garment it is,who made it,dye colours etc be careful. I paid 140 quid for a snidy coat (2nd hand)3 years ago,looked great, badge was real,coat wasnt.wore it for 6 months but then found out and i was in denial,no cant be. Imagine how defoed i was.

Very true mate. Art numbers inducate exactly what you day. Year for first two numbers, second two numbers are type of garment ie jumper coat trousers jeans etc. Last few numbers are style, colour etc etc
I know this video is older but if you could help me I'd appreciate it. Found a stone island sweater in grey similar to this one at the thrift. Looks exactly like the real one based off your breakdown but the code is saying it's fake. Not sure what to believe.
Certilogo is 100% legit m8 if it says its counterfeit it will be, they put this on there tags a good few years ago, before it just had the old Art No.

The best way to avoid any hassles is to keep your CLG Codes private and make a Certilogo Seal if you want to sell a piece online ( so people can check before they buy -- www.certilogo.com/faq#soa ) Every authentic item has a different code. If you share it without the Seal, people get curious, enter it in The Authenticator, and lie about having the product with them. The same product can't be in more than one place at the same time, so our security system throws an alert and locks down the code to scan for counterfeits.

Also ART NUMBER on si items are a good way to tell fakes for fakes and original. For example I have soft shell, below washing instructions I have art number. 601541527.
These codes say alot about the item. The "15"part means coat or jumper. The rest means colour and style etc etc. Fakes don't really have art numbers.
Vintage used to have these on the top label, now on the main tags. They changed this late last decade and some replicas still do the older way.
Stay casual stay orginal.
Personally wouldn’t risk getting a fake. Fair enough if all of them were as good as third but the reality is that most of them are crap and can spot them from a mile away so wouldn’t wouldn’t risk ordering a fake to find out it’s one of the rubbish ones! Always get authentic products, better in the long run.

I could see the difference in the fake one and the real one at pretty much every point tbh if you wear the clothing you can spot fake ones it’s knowing what to look for. On eBay I have run a check on a few things and I can say 1 out of 15-20 where real and I am being conservative there!! It’s as this guy says feel the quality look at the way it’s shipped in look at the labels you should get 4 with stone island and C P company and if it’s cheap then most likely a fake but do the checks you can Certilogo stuff for 2014 and onwards so that’s another thing you can look for if there saying I just bought it but got here and was to bag/small no Certilogo from 2014 fake there is a art checker the name is gone out my head just look up art checker and it will come up. It’s not the number on the back label it’s on the wash labels on the side and that tells you if it’s real or bogus!! Pet hate of mine folk ripping other people off with fake crap anyway just check everything you can and if second hand as questions about it and get photos there are a power of fakes out there it’s crazy you have to do this cos of fake Britain 😞😞 Britain is done now been lead a merry out dance of what.
