I was born in Brooklyn NY, 1972 (closer to Coney Island) I had an older brother and saw that movie way too young also! I also remember the fear as it showed everything I was raised to be afraid of but still continued to watch it and love it. I love this concept album!!
I was surprised that they made this but glad they did. Not from New York but I loved it as soon as I’ve seen it. Glad they put it to music and I really dig the changes they made
Dude said the movie isn't that familiar. Gtfoh! It isn't familiar to HIM but there are A LOT OF US who are familiar with this cult classic. My older sister and her friends were in high school back in '79 and I was in elementary school. I was obviously too young to see the movie but I remember them pretending to be one of the Warriors. They saw The Warriors close to 100 times easily. Double feature movies were the normal back then plus you could stay in the theater all day long and watch the movies repeatedly because no rule existed in regards to leaving immediately after a movie was over. If you add the Friday night viewings and the all day viewing on Saturday, over the course of a weekend you clearly see how easy it was to see this movie numerous times until it left the theater. We live in DC and the movie was a major hit in the DMV area. I saw it years later on HBO and loved it so much I could see why they kept going back to see it. CAN YOU DIIIG IT!!!
I saw The Warriors in the theater in 1979. I can't wait to experience this updated vision.
11:00 Shout out for the videogame! I'm really glad Lin played it because it really IS awesome. Every Warriors fan should play it!

Cash grab, rip off. Most of the album sucks. I think they did The Warriors dirty, to be perfectly honest. Lin needs to be ashamed of himself for this.
Damn that was quite a claim but yeah
Unnecessary comment
HARD disagree. The album is pretty cool and it's a love letter to the movie.
