When he agreed to do this show, it wasn't a big thing either. They went a while before they started making money and it was popular. Not to argue, but I think he enjoyed it. I don't think it was a money thing.
no, daveed likes hamilton a lot, he said that repeatedly. however, when he joined he didn‘t know he‘d have to go on everyday for years, didn‘t know that he‘d have to talk about hamilton for years. he liked being part of it, but I guess it‘s understandable that he‘s a bit full of it after all those years

The ballads are the best of any show I know aside from Westside Story, but I’m just not a big fan of ballads. (My daughter despairs of me 😉)

Pick from the underrated songs: The Story of Tonight (because of Leslie’s comment in another interview that he had never seen four men of color singing about friendship and brotherhood on stage before - and it’s part of what convinced him to do the show - and it’s just fun to sing :) )
Third: Dear Theodosia cuz it’s such a beautiful message and song - and cuz Leslie says while Lin was singing in that song he would bow his head and pray for his future daughter - and he made about 500 prayers to his yet to come daughter during the course of the show
So I guess my choices are really inspired by Leslie lool

The cast is so wholesome its killing me
A lot of people say how much they love the cast being together and how they seem like they're having a great time, but obviously it came with the cost of having to work really hard to perform a very intense play 8x a week with the exact same energy every time. So I absolutely understand why Daveed doesn't miss it at all despite him absolutely slaying those roles.
I didn’t know so many people appreciated nonstop! Definitely one of the better songs. Also great are the world was wide enough and who lives, who dies.
