    I’m on the same boat regarding the Peak Design bag! (Also made a review/rant a while back 😂) I find that, while it’s made to be capable of holding a lot, once you utilize all the compartments, the experience of using it just goes downhill. “Quick Access” is not quick anymore when the bag is full. You still have to shuffle your items with your hand. That being said, it’s pretty good for “carrying” your gears from place to place (although the bag itself is a little heavy), when it comes to Quick Access, I find it frustrating to use.

    Great vid Tom! I always love you chill vibes, and the sea foam color you love so much really just sparkles in your videos. I do have a bag suggestion, though it won’t be for this particular EDC. I have been adoring the TomToc sling, specifically the smaller model that is meant to hold a switch in the back pocket. It has a fantastic build, is well designed, and durable. I used it as my going out bag for my entire 3 week trip to Japan and not only was it incredible to use, it still looks brand new! Plus there is a creator on their site to let you customize everything about the bag (which unfortunately wasn’t available at the time I got mine).
    Regardless, love the videos, can’t wait for the next one! ❤

    Hi Tom! TIL that you actually don’t like to make these edc videos too often but heyyy consumerism haha, but tbh i really love it when you post EDC videos! Because of you, I actually bought quite a lot of the edc things you use, such as the Larq bottle, the orbit key, Apple Watch, this and that. I also finally got an OLED switch (the TOTK one) at last, and I'm so glad that I did. I've been playing handheld more often and the screen brightness and extra screen real-estate are really appreciated! I completely agree with the Peak Design Every Day Backpack - I bought the 1st Gen 20L in 2019 for a European holiday - but honestly I just didnt get on with it. Aesthetically its great and it feels premium, but the side access I find problematic when the bag is loaded up & the straps (perhaps its just my body size) I just dont find that comfortable. I reverted back to my ThinkTank Airport Commuter as just all round better for me.

    I LOOOOOOVE this bag, and couldn't agree with you more on the smaller compartments just being such a great idea; but they don't quite work for me. Additionally I feel when you use these, it tightens up the laptop compartment and almost squeezes my laptop (14" MBP on the 20L). One other gripe I have on the bag (yes I actually like the bag, but figured I'd point out its faults); is that it gets absolutely filthy with like white scuff marks, just going from my office to my car. Not sure why the material is so sensitive, but yeah. Otherwise, fantastic bag! lol

    Great video as always! I don't use my camera often enough to justify getting a bag with special camera compartments/functionality (I've been using an Ogio Newt laptop bag for at least 4 years) but I'm wondering if it would give you more peace of mind to get a compact camera cube and put it in a laptop bag/anything that'll hold everything else in your tech bag aside from the camera equipment 🤔

    I'm actually thinking I will sell my 1st gen AirPods Pro as I've barely ever used them. I found the Beats Fit Pro and love them so much that I have two pairs, one to stay at home and one that stays in my bag wherever I go. I wanted to love AirPods, but they just don't stay in my ear like the Beats Fit Pro do, and I the Beats also have active noise cancellation, so they tick all my boxes! Great video once again, Tom!

    Those "origami" dividers inside is exactly what I don't like with my Peak Design Messenger back as well. Granted, that one is top-loaded, which means stuff won't randomly fall out when you access it, but I don't feel like things are properly lined up. The camera body with a lens on also takes up a bit too much space due to how these dividers have to be set up, so all in all the back will be sold. Hope you can figure out how to properly use it though, they're quality bags.

    • @ByteReview
      @ByteReview  11 місяців тому +1

      It’s a much more video oriented camera, so the body is video first, lots of holes for screwing attachments to it etc! Barely any rolling shutter, 120FPS 4K, too handle for audio etc etc - lots of stuff tbh!

    • @croppixelmedia
      @croppixelmedia 11 місяців тому

      Just throwing my opinion out there. If you’re not that into video I’d say go with the a7iv because the FX3 is in the cinema line & you’d probably get more enjoyment/results out of the a7iv. Disclaimer I’ve never used the FX3 for photos so I could be wrong but just one opinion.

    I wanted to let you know that you are definitely using the shelves the wrong way.
    I would turn two of the shelves and make them vertical. this will allow you to put your camera in the middle with a lens connected to it immediately. This will also give you four shelves for prime or smaller lenses. Just make sure to put your 24-70mm/15-35mm lens which are basically in the middle with your camera.
    Also your Nintendo can lay against the side. I hope this helps.
