Like how this potrays realisticly ww1 in their homeland you would be told war is great and all only in trenches you would realize taht artillery, gas attacks, trench raids, rats and 50 diesieses exist
I read a book about WW1 and it showed how the Nazis came back because they failed war and at the start of this game you can see the people chanting for you so ot reminded me of that. We think military is easy to get into and you win the war but its really hard for them. R.I.P to the ones who we lost

Like Jaymess said, the Nazis have nothing to do with it (other than certain figures like Hitler and Dirlewanger fighting in it before becoming Nazis) Btw it started because of the resentment, hatred and anger in all the German peoples due to how much of a laughing stock Germany had become after the Versailles treaty (weakened military, resources directed to France, forced to pay reparations that would make it bankrupt, lose territory to Poland, lose colonies in Asia and Africa, etc)
Also the mustard gas and chlorine gas, and during ww1 the german trenches were much better made than the brittish because the brittish trenches would always flood and didn't have any good irrigation systems and the german trenches were actually more home like and of higher quality but during ww1 thousands of soldiers would perish just to gain only a few inches of land which is kinda sad
@Jack-me167 Yeah, food is definitely one of them. Food shortages were common in WW1 and catching rats were rare. But it can't be perfect it is supposed to be a multilayer FPS aswell
