Thanks for the video. Very enjoyable. My rosso 8v perforated away, I spent a fortune on it but at the time I sold you could pick one up for 2kukp. I kept my Evo2 and now its undergoing full restoration. Another place to look for rust is behind the rear bumper. Mine was filled with expanding foam!!! The wings were filled with some sort of rubber. Get your magnets out before buying.... Also dont let people hold on to the 'Jesus handles" they snap easily. You can go through suspension bushes quickly, but upgrading to polybushes can lead to stress cracks... Another issue...
Good review. I found on mine the roof warped as the shell flexed too much with full power and 4WD, although not powerful by today's standards. My feeling is they definately need a roll cage in to give the shell more rigidity and strength plus strut braces. You are a good presenter. You don't shout at the camera which is refreshing. So many YTers do which annoys me. It's like you are talking normally to the viewer, me, standing next to you. I guess you have now sold your Integrale. I only had mine for 2 years. Maintenance costs were eye watering. Nearly bankrupted me, but it was nice while I had it, more for the exclusivity and to have owned one more than anything. I found it quite tiring to drive on a long run. Best drive was going from Salisbury up to Holyhead through up and over North Wales and then across to Ireland and up to the Antrim coast. Great on B roads not so good on bigger roads or motorways obviously. Thanks for making and sharing.
Hey, thanks for watching and for your comments Alex.. i too feel that perhaps extra stiffness would make the car more enjoyable to drive.. it did feel like it might fold over at any time!!
@@Number27 Apparently Lancia in making the Integrale wanted to give the Italian family man a car he could drive to work, to take his family out and to go rallying at weekends. There were no 3 door Integrales. The 5 door shell really wasn't strong enough. Those that are turned into rally, sprint and hill climb cars have cages fitted but for safety regulations. It stiffens them considerably.
Forgot you had one !!!!!!! Did you ever find out salient differences between the 16v and the 8v ? Evo over just the Integralle also ? I’m in market to buy one starting my research.
Great video. Thanks for the information. These call me like a rally-bred siren, but I am concerned about the rust issues and the possible lack of available parts over here in the U.S. Would you say the hassles were worth the experience? I know maintenance and repairs are part of the classic car life, but coming from an MGB and 944 I'm used to relative durability and reliability. Thanks.
Hey Stephen, it would be crucial for you to get a good car to import. With you being in the USA that will be difficult but not impossible. You'd need to go through a respected dealer and here in the Uk I would only really trust Auto Integrale. Parts availability here is relatively good but probably quite restricted in the US. If you live near some tight windy roads then it would be worth while for sure.. if not then I'm not so sure. This one will be for sale soon but it is a high mileage, modified car so not sure it would be what you're looking for.
Yep, great cars these.. its a real shame that Fiat is letting Lancia die and that the Integrale was followed up by the woeful HPE.. thanks for watching Steve!
Cool vid. Just one thing, you say your car has an Evo front end, is that just the callipers? If it were a full Evo front end, then it would have a 5 stud hub too..
silly car really, apart from being a rally champions car and a legend in the motoring world . your mates who find the lancia funny must still in their Nappies .
This video was a great help, as I'm currently thinking of buying one of these Integrales.
Great video such an iconic car lot of good points made in this video shame they suffer with rust but what classic car doesn't
Exactly Paul!
In portugal they don't... But britain is fucked up

I am hoping to buy a tatty but solid Integrale tomorrow. Will keep you posted. Thanks for the hints and tips on what to look for.
Good luck Neil!!
Good guide for any prospective purchasers
Cheers Grant!

Hello, i looked at your videos and was surprised when i didnt see a fulvia!

Russell hi Russel, it has EVO suspension arms so the front end is the same width as an EVO.. the calipers and discs remain 16v though as do the hubs!
Ahh ok. Are you running Evo wings on the front?
No, 16v wings which is why the wheels are so flush.. they don't rub though. I think mine is one of 3 uk cars to have this conversion
Number27 It's funny really. I think most of the integrale's were built with what ever was close to hand at the time lol
Shit, watching this as if I ever were to buy a Delta :'( So few of them left :/
This sold for £12,500 so it's not an unachievable dream...!! Go for it!
Number27 How much miles had it when you sold it? Because in Germany you dont find a good 16V for 20000€ /18000pounds. Did it have any issues?
Hi!!, 220,000 Km's but engine only had 60,000 kms on it as was replaced. Car was in brilliant condition, really very, very good for the money.
Number27 That person who bought it was really lucky to get such a good price
Didnt know you had a HF, do you miss it
Not really.. too fragile!! Cool car though..
@@Number27 yup had 5 dedra s most with the 2 litre. They went too high too quick make sense now
IT'S PRONOUNCED LANCHIA
Caveat emptor!
That isn't a lansia with a "s"... lancia with "c" like ciao (LAN-CI-A)
Nice car, don’t forget your wallet 🙈😳🥺
Waktu rally dunia, toyota sempat kalah dengan mobil ini di tahun 90's years oldenese.......
You forgot one very important point and that is that your 'car' mates will take the piss out of you ! 😂
Only if they're German car obsessed twats Johnny.. ;)
Best kind of mates :D
silly car really, apart from being a rally champions car and a legend in the motoring world . your mates who find the lancia funny must still in their Nappies .
Clearly you don't know much about cars Johnny, a good one will skin you 55k
Your "mates" clearly don't know much about motorsport....
