Mario is looking for friends. but there is the only one thing he never knew: he couldn't see the rest.
The imagination would "Delve" into his mind of him, and his memory. The heroism days are on complete halt, as he wanders around, from place-to-place. The Mushroom Kingdom crumbles, the ground began to shivering and shake as none of them would have to see the world on fire. it falls apart. The frame of him is a mystery. He would never see his friends again.
He can't be fooled by himself. It's not what happened.
He saved nobody. He's too late.
So the questions would be: Where is he? Why he didn't come to the castle? The answer is: He is abandoned.
Everyone needs Mario. But for the first time... It's his fault.
He would run from the truth, but he cannot run from the past.
Things were never changed.
All hope is lost. Forever
(NOTE: when walking before the next level, the Easter egg would be a message saying that you should "Hold X to Run". that's all you need to know.)
