Thanks for watching~ Sootch00 - Наука та технологія
I bought a maxpedition gearslinger bag about 10 years ago to carry my type 1 diabeetus medication. I can’t recall the model name (about the size of a gallon jug) but I’ve carried this thing with me everywhere, every day, for the last 10 years and it still looks new, the strap is stiff, and the elastic loop (that I’ve never used) still has tension.
Provided they make their bags with the same quality, I’ll always buy these bags.
Nice little pack!
Thanks for the info! Loved your ending with the cigar and cell phone.
Awesome great review. No bs no music, no montages nor camera zooming in and out. Nice.
Seriously, these people that think that you are a commercial for Maxpedition obviously haven't used their products. I have their Condor II daypack and it is the best pack that I have ever used, by far.
Excellent review sootch. Great bag.
I love Maxpedition - can't get enough of their products.
KEEP ON PREPPING
I love your Maxpedition reviews
Haha awesome "Blooper" at the end. Another great review Sootch, as always!
Great review!!!! after seeing this video i actually went out and bought one, and i was even more impressed with it in person. it fits everything that i need in a rough and ready package.. THANKS SOOTCH
That bag is perfect for a bugout sorta deal for some extra non critical items. Love it, thanks Sootch!
Love bag, use this for my trail stewarding days and for rescuing lost and injured hikers. The newer updated version of this has d ring attachments on the sides to put a shoulder strap on.
I've got some few Maxpeditions bags and pouches too. What makes it stand out from my 5.11 tactical is the quality of the fabric. The polyurethane really makes a lot of difference in terms of water resistance and makes the bag somewhat stiffer, which is great. Im thinking about getting this Proteus and rig it at the bottom of my Falcon 2 using the straps on the backpack to serve as an extension for more space when I need more than a day-pack.
The Jeroboam and Proteus are excellent vehicle bags too !
Don't balk at the price of Maxpedition's gear, the tough factor on these bags is over the top. I bought a Remora, then a Malaga, then accessory pouches - the list keeps growing and growing !
Do yourself a favor, and try just ONE maxpedition bag. You won't be dissapointed I promise you that.
I use a Gearslinger for EDC, and get constant comments on how awesome it is - everyone wants to know where I got it, so I tell them ^.^
Another great review of the perfect Man purse. I can say that because I got one too!
Sootch is one of the best gear reviewers on youtube!
I absolutely love this bag.my current waist pack,a Jansport,is made of nylon and has seen it's better days from all its use.Not meant for an EDC bag.I've viewed other sootch00 reviews on Maxpedition products. Thanks sootch00 your video was most helpful.I'm def.sold on this bag.
very sweet bag ill have to check that out! just got my second maxpedition bag and i love em
Thanks so so much for this review i needed as much info on this bag as possible great review
Thanks for the info and your great videos.
Nice review of a well made product Sootch..Thanks.
Great job will be looking into their products.
Great videos. Love the trailers at the end. Lol..
Great review !
I'm with Mrs. Sootch on that smoking business! -- Thank you as always sir!
I have this same bag in black. I love it and use it in a very similar way to yours. Great review, keep up the good work. Greetings from UK..
Great product review. It is nice getting firsthand feedback on product of which is why I subscribed to your channel. On a side note, I always look forward to your comedic video endings. lol Keep up the great work! I love Maxpedition products and bought the Fatboy and Mini Chest Rig.
Nicely done.
Sootch, great video as always. Just purchased one using Sootch as my discount code for 10% off...thank you. Have used your discount code a number of times with Maxpedition and also on the leather gun belt you did a video on a few months back. BTW, the belt is everything you said it was and I wear it daily and put it through lots of hard use. Appreciate your channel buddy and of the time you give to us for the reviews and guidance.
just seen your vid here on the proteus, good job, but really enjoyed the ending - to funny, thanks for your review
Great shirt man !
Awesome shirt!
i use the Proteus to carry my lunch to work along with other tools like my Leatherman Surge at the side, HD Drive, headphones mp3 player and other tiny things, . incredible product. even i have been asked in the street where do i bought the bag since here in my country there are only cheap copies. This bag with the Janus are very cool.
Great video and review. Thanks for the laughs. Definitely subscribing
love the endings too!
Greetings from England! Another superb video... I loved your English accent at the end! Ha ha ha ha! God Bless America, long live the Republic. Amen brother.
Cool bag review, thanks
I watch all your vids just to watch the endings. Lol. Great review.
Took me a while to figure that T-shirt! Nice.
Nice job on the video Sootch! I'm putting together the same setup with the Proteus and EDC Organizer and would love to see what you carry in the smaller pouch.
Can you this with a shoulder harness, and if so which would you advise?
I don't own a max but can tell that they are vey well made and of high quality. Can't justify spending the money on these unless my well being depended on bullet proof gear and it hasn't yet. I have a $10 waist pack that does the job for me. Nice vid!
I've been looking for a bag like this, and I think the $60 is a good price, given all that it contains and workmanship. I like pockets and cubbyholes. This really fits the bill for me. thanks for the great review.
that's a really cool carry bag sootch . if ya got two of those you could put them on the sides of a molly vest. also great video like always and keep up the amazing work
I really dig the small duffle bag look, also the ending was quite hilarious.
@sootch00 are there two variants? one with two straps and the logo on top and one with one strap and the logo in front? which is the newer version / better?
Nice reviews
lol I work for YKK. Nice plug in. I don't work on the zipper side though. We make Cosmolon for the new military uniforms and the compression buckles. I like the Proteus pack. Thanks for showing yours.
A pair of Perry suspenders help distribute the weight and attach to the belt in front and the MOLLE webbing in the back.
Love the last 20secs
I carry a larger bag for my EDC stuff. Not too keen on the OD Green but they do make a good bag. Thanks for the review perhaps you can do a review on a larger Maxpedition bag.
Awesome shirt :D
Hi sootch, fits well Glock 17 or 19 there? Thanks a lot
nice little bag.... i dig the shirt lol
How did you attach the knife to that bag?
Cool purse.
......fanny-pak........
god bless and keep up the good reviews brother!!
I use an old camera bag. It has the same lay out minus the webbing. Like to upgrade so thanks for the vid!
great video
That Proteus fits right into the main compartment of the Sabercat.
is there a way to store the handle so tht it isnt snaped shut when u have it one as a butt pack, and one thing i do with a similar pack i weave the waist strap threw the frame of a backpack on the lower part where people keep their sleeping bag when i have my light fleece sleepingbag in the pack
Great review...I bought one. Do you use small molle locks?
what programm do you use for cutting and rendering your videos ?
man please tell me where you got the AK safety selector switch T-shirt? i need to have one. so cool.
hm, I've seen some proteus packs that have shoulder strap rings up top. The one shown in this video doesn't have them... or, am I wrong?
Love the ending.....how true that is
I really liked that waterproof vial. Can you tell me the name of it? I can't seem to find it on Amazon, but I really liked the size of it.
have it, love it! nice ending, have that problem also!
Cool Bag! Not sure if I would carry it fanny style though. I'm sure it has a sling option.
what kind of binoculars are in that pack?
Haha, nice ending there sootch00
i think it's need over the shoulder straps, when thats fully loaded, and youre running with it around your waist it bounces around, its needs suspenders like an old school lbv
hey sootch00 do you still use this bag and also where do you get you bulk ammo from looking to pick some up thanks jared
Can you attach mini dump pouches on each side
@sootch00 First time post on your channel, but I've watched for what seems like years. I have several Maxpedition bags and you are 100% right, "you will know better." Really enjoy your work, always look forward to new videos and don't let these naysayers drag you down.
Hi Sootch. Were did you grt those Keeptogo vials?
love the end
I use the Proteus for my Med Bag
CAN IT BE WORN TO THE FRONT FULL TIME?
I'm looking for something just like this but with a place for a water bottle. Thanx for sharing Sootch
Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack ... check it out ... love mine
were those bino's the tasco 12x32's?
and greetings from Norway Scootch!!!
You might of mentioned it and I missed it, what color is that pack?
Get'n a bit large for a butt bag (imo). I have a similar size setup, which attaches to my support system and straps to my thigh. Given the choice to carry the Proteus or the Molle Assault Pack III, my choice would be the MAP. Good review.
Thank you maxpedition! I have been waiting forever for a good pack. Now I can remove that condor B.S from my infidel belt and slap on something worthy of it's quality.
Inspired by your video I'm now proud owner of Proteus. I've got an ESEE Escabar and I would like attach it like you attached your ESEE DPx H.E.S.T.. Thanks!
I have an idea for the folks at Maxpedition. Please suggest to them to include an H-harness! that would be perfect.
Is that a AK safety lever printed on your t shirt ?
I use that as a range bag!
anyone know is there a way to attach this under a falcon 2?
A couple of D-rings for a shoulder strap would make this bag even more versatile.
Thank's for the review !
Henrik Ivarsson it has 2 D rings, 1 on each side for a strap, which is how I use it.
what is the name by which the knife attachment is attached to the bag?
Will this attach to my Gyrfalcon?
You should do a review on the Maxpedition Sabercat
hollowpointkid I've been looking for one to buy , can't find any :(
Does it have a way to carry a water bottle?
interesting AK selector lever t-shirt
looks a lot like the Snugpak Response Pak which is a lot cheaper. It would serve great as a bike/hike pack.
What fixed blade is that on the front?
Hey sootch, whats the clips you used to mount the knife to the pack? Thanks mate
I know you're comment is very old but it looks like alice clips like the military used to use to attach exterior pouches to alice packs.
***** thanks mate i eventually had to settle for the maxpedition tie things as sootch couldnt be arsed to reply 👍😂
I would love to have a Maxpedition bag, but Im a budget prepper, so maybe someday. It looks way cooler than a fanny pack.... cough cough Nutn....lol
One of the things I find I like to do a lot with my bag... Is just to graaaab the handle..... Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha..!!
