You know your up too late when Hickok posts a Sunday shoot-a-round and you haven’t even slept yet😂
Bro it's morning lol
I got up at 10:00 this morning after 6 hours of sleep. LOL
Saw the video appear at 3am in Worsington state.
@@nokachi3339 Ever hear of this cool thing called "timezones"?
I love this time of year; the sound of birds singing and lead slinging.
Back in the late 1970's and early 1980's, I lived in rural Oklahoma... With a "permission note" from Mom, I would leave my 12 gauge on the bus so I could get off the bus at a friends house and go hunting after school. The times have changed.🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
In the mid 90’s in KY some students had rifles in their vehicles during deer season. AG teacher used to clean guns during class. No one thought anything about it because no one was doing anything stupid.
@@stevennewman4778 I remember in 5th grade in 1962, the Fish and Wildlife service brought a number of rifles and shotguns to school in Clay Kentucky for a show and tell. That would probably be a federal crime these days. Well, maybe not. It was my home state of Kentucky, after all!
Mid eighties at my high school in southern Missouri the parking lot was full of pickups with shotguns or rifles hanging in the back windows. Nobody ever said a thing about it.
The increased level of nonsense and stupidity today is largely due to a lack of common sense. 🤠
@peternorton5648 believe it or not, the same was true on Nashville/Davidson County school campuses during the 1970s and early '80s. It wasn't at all uncommon to see pick-up trucks in the student parking area with long guns, prominently secured in the rear window gun racks, especially on a Friday during any hunting season.
As a Tennessee teacher (formerly of the formerly great state of California), I strongly support the idea that teachers who are well regulated to arms should be able to provide first responder protection for their students.
To those teachers who fear that, if armed, they might harm their own students: you probably shouldn’t be in a classroom to begin with.
100% agree.
well with how strong teacher's unions are, those bad apple teachers will always slip through the cracks and get shuffled to another school rather than fired. There should mandatory tests for every teacher to pass before they get one just like with anyone else getting screened for owning a gun, and if they fail, no gun for them
I understand the sentiment. But is this the society we really want/believe we live in? The issue isn’t the gun, it’s the society we’ve created with woke madness, law enforcement who are as corrupt as the criminals, and children who learn insanity from social media. I think the discussion is wider than just arming people to the teeth.
I have been making breakfast every Sunday, even in vacations, with Mr. Hickok 45 videos.
God bless you and your family.
God bless you Hickok45 for always speaking truth.
The sound of those large spent casings hitting the table was quite satisfying. Thanks
Yeah, I miss Paul. He is a no nonsense teacher for my opinion. I’m grateful that his brother is going to carry on. I’ve whittled out Edward Sarcassian, Demo Ranch, and a few others for being just goofy. I’ve kept the good ones and here I am.
WHAT HAPPENED TO PAUL,??????PLEASE INFORM ME!!!!
@@RivhardDavenport he has pancreatic cancer, not a good prognosis as yet, but modern medicine is good. My cancer has been gone a couple months now. I’m getting better in my recovery every dsy so I have faith he has a chance still.
@@donaldanderson7410 if I remember correctly his brother said last week in a video that he was in hospice care at home with his family but was in good spirits. Sad to hear but I suppose we should always hope for recovery.
I just got back from the gun range and settled down to listen to your pearls of wisdom. Fully support the idea of responsible teachers carrying. Your analysis is valid.
Mornin’ to all! 🌞
Mornin’
Mornin'
God Bless You And Paul !
Good morning Hickok45 and gang
Nothing more fun than a lever, well besides a SAA.
Cheers
I love to watch the Sunday shoot with my coffee before church 😎 life is good. And we do miss Paul...
The best teachers never stop learning. Likewise the best CCW person never stops learning. Hickok45 comes to mind.
Now that’s a boomstick ! Thanks Hickok!
Howdy Mr. Hickok. When I was in high school 75-79 in St. Louis Mo. I was in the Rifle Club and on the Rifle Team. We competed against other schools. The school supplied us with guns and ammo. (22lr military surplus big heavy ass rifles) My math teacher and biology teacher were our instructors. It was part of the NRA Civilian Markmanship Program. We had alot of fun. I heard that program ended in the mid to late 80s.
This man is like a father to me. Even though I was born in the far soviet state, it seems like I belong to the South American ranch full of booze, guns, and freedom. Cheers 🍻 to yall.
It's not as free over here as you think sadly.
Last rifle I’d ever sell thanks Hickok for the video
In Trashcanistan you can buy a Government issued, select fire M4 with a full NVG setup. Seems a potatoe left them about 80 billion in arms.
*POTATUS*
“If violent crime is to be curbed, it is only the intended victim who can do it. The felon does not fear the police, and he fears neither judge nor jury. Therefore what he must be taught to fear is his victim.”
- Colonel Jeff Cooper
That is one beautiful rifle. Thanks for sharing!
Good morning Mr Hickok God bless you all ❤AMERICA 😅
Good morning Hickok45...Coming from Perrysburg, Ohio....Appreciate your shout out, recognizing Paul Harrell...
G'Mornin' Rev. Hickok! Thanks for another great gun sermon from that fine target-rich church of yours! I'm afraid I am guilty of the sin of coveting my neighbor's firearm. That is one beautiful Winchester you are brandishing. Aren't ticks the worst? I grew up in a very rural setting. We rarely ever got ticks, despite trudging through woods with rifles, playing games in the grass and eating many meals outside at a picnic table. When we did get ticks, they were the big brown type that were easy to see or at least feel on your body. Nowadays if I go for a short walk in the woods near my house I have to drown myself in repellent or I'll have five of the little demons on me, so tiny that I won't know until they've latched on.
Someone posted a pic of using blue painter's tape around your ankles with the sticky side out. It had lots of ticks on it. They also had some tape on the right way to tape their pants to their socks.
Ohio now has 67 school systems with armed staff.
I think Ohio pretty much is leading the nation in that. I suppose that's why we've heard about all the hundreds of teachers there who've accidentally shot their beloved students, right! :-)
Same old story; the "Looney Left" gun haters hate facts. They don't like to know about, or at least admit that they know about, all the many millions of permit holders carrying every day without incident.
Some of them are so clueless that they probably don't even realize when they're eating in about any restaurant that probably 75% of the fellow eaters are sitting there armed. That would destroy their cherished narrative.

Happy Sunday! Another great visit with hickok45.

I just enjoy listening to you talk Hickok, about anything. I`m 70, got a nice old 66 Harley FLH that I rebuilt, belonged to my Dad`s best friend who bought it new. Got nobody to leave it to that even cares about it. It just sits there in the way. And I have a Yamaha XT-250 dirtbike that`s great. It sits there too. Got so many firearms I can`t tell you how many right off the top of my head, that I still enjoy shooting, fixing up, reloading. I only have a 25 yrd range behind my shop, but I am a member of a club that has everything including a 1,000 yrd range. So yeah, I need to find a young guy who appreciates old Harley`s and just give that bike to him.
Shout out to Paul Harrell.
Good Sunday morning Brother Greg ,,
Just another awesome lever day!!!
From SW OHIO,, GERMANTOWN,,,Brother Neil
😂 Bang that gong 😊 .watching every ☀ Sunday from Trumbull County, Ohio 🇺🇸
I have a marlin 1895 special edition 45-70. Octagon barrel. Love the 45-70. Picked up a single shot recently too.
@23:00 . The stories I saw about the aurora Colorado shooter: when asked why he chose that theater instead of 2 theaters closer to where he lived, he said that theater was a "gun free zone". The 2 other theaters weren't.
Rise&shine! Happy Sonday!
This made my morning.
Everybody’s grandpa.
Always great life advice on this channel!👍
good morning duddy from Venezuela! exellent video teacher! happy day friend..
years ago my brother got put on a no fly list for fertilizer trace on his golf bag.. that's here in the good old U S A.
Good to see you Mr. Hickock. I enjoy those ramblings of yours. You sound like any other friend.
About all those ignorant, crazy commenters, just let them worry themselves sick, well, sicker.
Covid booster shot #93 on the double lol
Would still like to see you look at a Model 71, which is supposed to be an “improved” 1886.
Speaking of Motor bikes. When I was a kid we had a stolen moped that all the neighborhood kids would share and ride. The bad thing about everyone sharing is things start missing or become broken. Eventually the whiskey throttle was missing so as a 14 year old kid. I remember we use to take the throttle cable and wrap it around our hand to control the throttle. I had my first experience with the law of physics. Jumped a curb lost my balance but for some strange reason the bike kept going with me on it. Like a bull rider stuck to the rope. Looking back I was lucky my hand didn’t come off or crash badly into something. The things we do as kids back then. Hickok I really enjoy your content on Sunday mornings in this dang blue state I live in. Keep up the good work!
Maybe if kids got to live like that they wouldn't cause so many problems today. I mean what you did was reckless but you didn't hurt anyone. That's freedom, instead the government tells the young ones that they CAN'T do anything without basically jail time. They go as far as turning everyone on each other "see something, tell the authorities". Nobody can live anymore without someone sticking their nose into it. Anyway, glad you got to experience the last bit of freedom America had to offer.
I have my great grandfather’s Parker Brothers shotgun. He bought it new in 1886. It’s a beautiful double side-by-side 16 gauge. I just had it appraised and it’s value comes in around $8000. He owned a farm down around Memphis Tennessee. We originally come from Virginia. We came to America from Bristol England in the early 1600’s.
Great show as usual. You're right just about ,everyone should carry
When I attended Anderson High School in Anderson Indiana in the late 70s early 80s we had Bob Pate an Anderson city Police Officer
walking our hallways during
School hours, we never had any problems!!! Great show Hickok!!!
Your joy is contagious sir
Good Morning from Brazil!!!!
Ballistol is the Best for any gun I mainly use for blackpowder guns...heck I use on locks lots of things around the house
What a nice old rifle.45-70 is a stout cartridge too.
Great rifle!❤ So claasic, with soul
Good morning ! From Missouri
Where I live the maple trees have buds about as big as a mouse’s ear. Have a great day.
Teachers getting qualified on and carrying firearms should be paid a premium for stepping up.
love from belgium
How is the beer there? As good as Germany?
I'm from SC I love the idea now when they know that their are guns on the premises they will think about what's going to happen a hole lot. Sooner
Great Sunday shoot around nice 45-70 rifle thanks for sharing Hickok45
Good morning, sir. Looks like a beautiful day.
Lookin green again in the shooting range. Good morning Hickok!
Good Morning, Great Video as always.
Good Sunday from NY.....where we now have to undergo a background check to buy ammunition.....only takes 1 or 2 hours now to get cleared.....got to plan ahead now.....cringe to think how long this would take during hunting season😢
The birds, the breeze, the booms!
Good morning from Florence, Texas
Those bowing pins reminded me of a time I went shooting up off Angeles Forest Hwy. back in the mid 80s. We used to be able to shoot, dirt bike ride, cook, and just enjoy being an American. You can’t do any of that anymore due to the Coors drinkers trashed the place up. Getting back to the bowling pin. I found one perfectly intact. So I got my Remington 870 riot barrel loaded it with some freight trains. I missed it completely on the first shot. Probably 30 yards but the second shot hit the belly dead center and split it in half. I love your show my friend!
Mornin Mr. Hickok, here in the Live Fee or Die State, Walmart sells 45-70. Little pricey for Walmart but at least it can be got😊
I’m in Lebanon NH. Walmart here actually has some good prices on ammo. Picked up 7.62x51 for $24/box. I’ve seen 30-30 there for $27, 30-06 there for mid-$20’s.
I've never looked for ammo at Walmart. Guess I'll have to check that out
I love the smell of Ballistol in the morning
Good morning Hickok!
I love that 1886 one! 👍❤
God bless you and your family Mr. Hickok , our local wal-mart has that cartridge.
Great channel
Great Morning!
nice rifle john thank you for the sunday videos i always enjoy them
Enjoy your posts and your ramblings(a good thing) in your Sunday Shoot a round..thnx
I do miss Paul Harrell. Greatly. Thank you for intro.
Another great video brother.
God bless all here.
Yes! Luv a good lever gun.
Good morning Hickok45 just bought a Henry 22 lever gun this week love it haven’t shot yet ! First Henry enjoy your video here in NC
At this point I think this is Hickok's favorite rifle.
I hear there is a lot of modern U.S. military weaponry in Afghanistan too.
It's all being moved around the Middle East. The Israelis have already captured M-4s in Gaza.
A high percentage of those arms are now in Sub-Sahara Africa, and a few of those fine folks in Southern Lebanon too..... Funny how the trade markets work; in particular, allied with abandoned guns and heroin.....
81 million votes my ass!
@ridgerunner5772 We also mustn't forget all the night vision and other high tech left behind.
@@thefrogking481 Oh no he got 81 million votes... they just werent legitimate votes. Like in the county of michigan where detroit is wayne county. Had 10% voter turnout, but had record numbers (over 2 million IIRC) mail in ballots. All of those mail in ballots went to precincts with zero registered voters. Then you have the woman in atlanta who with her daughter and daughters boyfriend who stayed counting votes while everyone else was evacuated for a broken water main and she scanned the same stack of votes 3 times ... ON CAMERA. Then there was the bags of votes from a town in california that were found 2 months later in a ravine. Oh and the town in PA that mysteriously ran out of ballots for the second time in a row... Thats why the left has been pushing for early voting and no photo ID for the past couple of decades. So they can cheat the system.
Good morning, everyone! I like my 32 Winchester model 94! How about a video on the above rifle sometime!
I have that rifle pre 64. Got it at a garage sale 30 years ago. 85.00. ejects from the top.
Hickock and Paul Harrell 2 of the best 2A, firearm knowledge residents on the Googletube. Beautiful 1886! Yes , Teachers that want to carry, and have had training, should always be allowed to protect Americas kids. Firearm protection should NOT be just for banks and politicians. Merica!
I write only to say, that despite I commen't less I'm still watching. At least every sunday shoot-a-round. Regards.
new hickok video
good day ahead of me
Hickok 45 for President
I’m glad that teachers will be able to do what they should have been able to do this entire time.
I remember the ruler, even the paddle. Let's hope the teachers can keep their cool. I mean Mrs Thompson having a 357 mag while getting called obese 24/7 is kinda ...I don't know, scary.
@@rexman971
If we can’t trust an individual with a firearm, why are they even a teacher? If that teacher loose his/her mind, other teachers will be / should be armed.
You should feel that your child is safe having teachers that have passed their 40 hours of training and are carrying.
Guns are the answer. They always have been. An armed society is a safe society.
Hi mr Hickok. I just got done reloading 100 rnds of 32-40 . Its for my Greatgrandpaps 1984 made in 1898. It has a 26" octagone barrel . I inherited it when i was 8. Ive loaded it with 175 grn hardcast lead. Sized 321. I shot it for the first time ive owned it. Absolutely impressed. This grand old rifle is going deer hunting this year. I can keep rounds in a 4" sticky dot on cardboard at 100 yards. And thats my fault. Im 57 years old. And my eyes are old. Im loading IMR4227 to blackpowder specs. I can tell you .they do not make things like this any more. No wonder my family is almost all Winchester rifles and m12 shot guns. God bless. WINCHESTER . AND ALSO HENRY for me.. i like quality. 😊
I have an Sig P226 in 9mm. Also purchased Sig’s .22 and .40 conversion kits. I’d be happy to lend them to you for a review.
What state are you live? You can walk with this guns on the street? Just interesting)
Good morning Tennessee and Everyone
And God bless you and your family
What a beauty.
Thanks for the Paul Harrell shout out
Ya I hear you about the bike riding…I see your point… I took a ride yesterday of about 100 miles just through the New England countryside on back roads and was very enjoyable, relaxing, and calming morning
That 45-70 hit hard on both ends 😂 nice rifle shoot good to good to see how good great video.
We don't need to arm teachers. We need to stop DISARMING teachers!
Once word gets out that teachers are armed the shootings will stop automatically like magic.
He’s the dream grandpa of everyone
Mr Hickok my revolvers are Ruger and my semi auto pistol are Colt 1911. 45 acp.. and i have put a load of ammo through them. I did get a smaller revolver and its a charter arms. And its been very good to and i like it. Unarmed means helpless. .
Had one of those in 45-70 too. Miss shooting it. Sold it to a collector as has needed some gun smithing that was irrelevant to the collector. Just took out some steel with a 45-70 trapdoor carbine over the weekends
Sunday Shoot around!!
ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧੀਆ ਜੀ
ਦੂਰੋਂ ਦੋਸਤੋ, ਸੁਆਗਤ ਹੈ!
