I'm so sad that younger generations will never know the thrill of finding a bomb ass dinosaur video on youtube, getting inspired by it, stealing your moms camera, getting your bucket of dinosaurs and army men, and making video in the backyard with aspirations of becoming the Spielberg of youtube toy dinosaur videos. I am glad I was lucky enough to experience it though. Thank you for reminding me of one of the happiest memories of my childhood. I'm happy to know I wasn't the only one. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a playlist to binge.

A dinosaur story is something that I honestly can’t live without. It was there for me when I was a little, little kid, and had lots of vintage and modern dinosaur toys. I used to not make movies, but play with them and make like action packed adventures. Me and my sister called the series, “Land of the dinosaurs”, and we LOVED IT. Every year for like 3-4 years, we played a “season” in from December 1-24 (as a thing to hype up Christmas) I even in 2015, bought the exact same toy dinosaur as Noasaurus!!! I love you Hoops. Also, for about 7 years, me and my sister have always wanted to know your real name and what you look like. I know that sound creepy, but it’s been a mystery out whole life’s!!!!! We love you so much!!! Also I don’t know if it’s Illegal, but I downloaded the MP4 of both “A dinosaur story” and “another dinosaur story”, and burned it on to a DVD (DVR) so I can watch it on my tv, and to Officially Archive it for all eternity!!! 💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝💝

I've read several comments on here regarding my old videos and I feel I should make a statement on them since I forget exactly how far my reach was whenever I was making those videos. If you are unfamiliar with me I am raptorboy101, just all grown up.
The only reason the channel was deleted was because I was a kid who didn't fully understand how to deal with a lot of the stuff I was going through at the time. My way to get away from the world was UA-cam and making as many videos with my toys as possible. They were my way of escaping reality and trying to ignore everything that was going on around me. Ultimately by ignoring everything it turned into a huge mess that caused me to overreact to several small things and delete my channel. Before you ask, there's barely anything that survived. Of the like 1500 videos I had I personally have only 15 or so, if that. Whenever I was a kid I never kept videos after I uploaded them, I usually deleted them because my laptop had barely any room.
I'm not sure if I will ever reupload them personally, mostly because my content I'm starting to make now really doesn't fit with what I used to do and I feel it wouldn't get the proper attention it deserves. I'm also read the several comments asking hoops here to re upload the videos. I'm very okay with him re-uploading them, you guys do deserve that after all these years.
I really do appreciate reading your comments and realizing there are still people that remember me. It's still boggles my mind to think that after 10 years there are still people that remember my videos. I really hope they're able to help people feel better, because I only tried to make them to make myself feel better.
If there are any questions you have about anything relating to raptorboy101 I will answer them on this comment.
    You guys are awesome.
    Peace and love,
    raptorboy101

honestly man, thanks for posting this comment because for a long time, I always thought you disappeared into obscurity, never coming back, but after years, you came back. I honestly remembered all the videos you did and it makes me happy that a dinosaur toy youtuber veteran decides to return. Im still in a quest to find old surviving toy dinosaur videos but for now, I just wanted to say thanks.

The way UA-cam is treating toy videos, the ones with actual EFFORT in them, is unfair.
I don't want to see their works and your works like Dinosaur Revival and both Dinosaur Stories deleted from the Internet. That would be depressing

Yeah. I discovered this part of UA-cam just about a year ago, and have loved it. I loved that they were people out their like me who made videos with toys. Unfortunately, UA-cam’s mistakes will probably spell doom to this part of UA-cam. Some of my favorite shows (Dinosaur Island, ect.) are having to be moved to other platforms and away from UA-cam. I’m having to do the same thing with my series. It’s a real shame this part of UA-cam will be destroyed within the matter of the coming month.

When I was in elementary I used to recreate scenes from multiple dinosaur movies like Disney's dinosaur, land before time, etc. I didn't have a camera at the time until my brother got a Nintendo 3ds for christmas, it was so much fun filming inside and outside the house with my animal and dinosaur toys back then. I'm making videos of a show about dinosaur toys now. These old toy videos and yours included, inspired me to create a UA-cam channel and make toy videos. I hope these old videos doesn't get left forgotten by modern stupid kid channels. Keep up the good work, man.🦖😁

I was actually predominantly watching these kinds of UA-cam videos more during those golden age days than I was Let's Plays
(Let's Plays were more of a Silver age of UA-cam thing for me, 2011-2014 ish)
But stop-motion and animation like these were my community niches back then
Predominantly Bionicle figurines and Sonic Sprite movies, but these Dinosaur vids still have that same home made vibe to them that remind me of the former
This was a nice little nostalgic watch so thanks Dinoman for that

That intro was absolutely perfect! Haha! Though also rather sad and nostalgic considering what UA-cam has become. Either way, this is a fantastic video on a topic long overdue for some discussion! These videos always sparked my imagination as a child, and I remember vividly attempting to modify or replicate the techniques various creators used or doing them in my unique style and making videos of my own at home to watch with my family. Besides the dinosaur toy channels, I was also a big fan of Michael Hickox's creative and high quality lego skits (which fortunately he still makes today!) as well as klophe4, who made some amazing lego horror and disaster short films. But really, there's too many channels to name and I've forgotten most of them off the top of my head. Like you said, I hope this type of YT media survives the current declining state of the site. It made a ton of joyful and lasting memories for so many people, and it'd be sad to see it be almost totally lost and forgotten.

I still won’t forget the time when UA-cam first came out at 2006. So many good videos back then that we will never forget. I remember when I was a little kid I watched every single dinosaur clip, show, and movie on UA-cam. One of my favorite ones back then was a series called “I am a dinosaur” and there was a little video where a hatchling tyrannosaur was playing with a dragonfly and then found a giant egg with a brachiosaurus in it that was one of my favorite videos back then. But now I can’t even keep up with any of the dinosaur videos out there. But every year keeps on making a new dinosaur movie like 2013 walking with dinosaurs 3-D, 2014 primeval New World, 2015 Jurassic World, 2016 the good dinosaur, 2017 the land before time: Journey of the brave, 2018 Jurassic World fallen kingdom, 2019 Dino King:Journey to the fire Mountains and etc.But now it’s impossible to see every single dinosaur video out there, but for those who seen all the old ones before 2013 came up you should be happy because some of those old videos back then you’ll never see again, sadly.

Is that... Raptorboy101's dinosaur island series footage I spy? God that brings me back. I know there are others, like Prehistoric and, more recently, Bioniclesaurus's series, but Raptorboy101 was the first (and this may be the nostalgia goggles, but also best) dinosaur island series I ever viewed. Where did you get that footage, as I thought all his videos + channel were shut down years ago?

When I think of an old toy channel that is still going to this day, I think of the godzilla channel called monster island buddies. The series has still been going on for years with more than 100 episodes, each episode showing signs of evolving technical improvement and narrative complexity. As the aspect ratio widens and pixel count grows, story arcs come and go with new, different characters arriving and dying off. The show is really funny too! The development times for episodes now a days have gotten quite long, but the waiting times have now been made up for with godzilla themed spin off shows starring the channel's host and the series's characters. I recommend you give the channel a visit some time.

    Man this video hits hard.
Raptor Boy, Demonshrieker, the Dino Attack claymation series by Vijay Jayant, your videos too, those were the golden days.
Glad someone made a video like this, they were raw fun times, challenging and full of creative discovery and deserve to be remembered.
    Oh, the nostalgia, the feels!
Still in contact with some of those old friends to this day. Sadly some of my favorites are long gone, removed or just lost in the soup of time. Cheers for featuring Skull Island in there, that means a lot dude. Likewise, you were a huge inspiration to me too. I very nearly made a series like yours right after the rush of binging ADS, except based on several surviving Dinosaurs in a large cave system, protected from the extinction event, and how they coped and escaped. Makes me wish I had the courage to make it!
I really needed to see this video, helps to remember.
    Wishing you the best, Hoops.
Looking forward to your next video.

It’s basically the same concept but with plushies instead of plastic toys, legos, and etc. I wouldn’t mind seeing a video on this side of Toy UA-cam as it’s almost the same thing but in the modern era, but with more layers to it.

As long as Robot Chicken exist I don't think we're going to be disappearing anytime sooner because Robot Chicken uses real life toys from real life companies and they don't shove in corporate advertising they play with what they have and expand upon it

I personally believe that the six-part "Dinosaurs vs Aliens" by dinox3raptor falls into this category. It's cheesy, but it brings a lot of nostalgia to me.

i shared the same introduction to youtube via videos like these, more specifically lego stop motions. (also these really weird found footage-ask elf on the shelf videos?) its really nice to see people talk about them, they will always hold a special place in my heart.

I love Thomas the Tank Engine, in-fact you’ve influenced me to review the older seasons of Thomas when I make UA-cam videos again inspired by you as well as Happy Feet UA-cam poops, Harry Potter, dinosaur and train videos, comedy, etc.

It makes me sad that it is incredibly difficult to find all the toy & action figure videos that made actual content via toys. Typing “lego stop motion animation” and I still get toy ad videos, family videos, and action figure & toy review videos. I like toy reviewing channels but when theyre creatives in the collecting community. Not the corporate pushed channels. You know these channels well - the collectors who might get sponsors if they grow large but clearly are collecting for themselves. Back to the point tho, I wish that I could search and have toy videos - classic toy videos where content and stories were created from playing with their toys / action figures.

I still remember back when I was younger around 2007, 2008ish there use to be a channel known as GodzillaFlims where they use to do toy videos of Godzilla, Ultraman, and Gamera. I loved the ever loving hell out of this channel i'm still wonder why they abandoned the channel.

The toy videos I’ve watched when I was a little kid were Pokémon toy adventures. I loved and watched them so much because they were so enjoyable. By the way, UA-cam said the demonetization garbage is gonna go away at the start of 2020.
