Okay, that bartender (stuntman) deserves and award, he almost ended up under the truck! And this movie has flaws, but I guarantee that when this comes on the TV, commercials and all, you watch it! :)
0:02-0:04 The clip of RoboCop that used to illustrate his survivability was better than the T-800 in the Terminator vs RoboCop episode of Death Battle.
When I was I lil kid I remember watching that scene where he hits the wooden pole, I began laughin so hard at the sound it made when robo hit that pole
There's no way nobody was injured when that van went through the wall of the Bar. The Bar Tender looked to be in a panic and actual pain, not acting, real!
I'm not sure if Robocop's sidearm was ever given specifications (I only watched the first 2 movies) but it didn't seem outlandish like the ED209's "urban pacification cannons" or all the crap Robocain had. So maybe the windshield of a bomb disposal truck could take the hits.
I always thought the exact same. Even as a kid I always felt like Robocop 2 felt VASTLY different than the first. It shows every director has their own unique fingerprint, like musicians. I remember when I watched Hollow Man, it reminded me SO much of Robocop 1 for some reason. Turns out Paul Verhoven directed that one as well! Verhoven should have directed both sequels imo. This movie completely failed to capture the same magic as the first.
0:55 - 0:57 ... That shot of Cain was clearly taken from another part in the sequence- the wall to the side of the truck and the sparks are missing, lol.
I hated this movie when I was a kid. Not because I was already a film snob or anything, but because Robocop just seemed so vulnerable in it. grew on me though
The original Robocop is grey. The blue tint was added later. There were several stories about robots that were rebuilt. The original Mega Man game and the Robocop movie were released in the same year, 1987. Robocop was released in July. Mega Man was released in December. How could a game inspire a movie that existed earlier?
@@Duvmasta, no problem. It might be a mere coincidence. According to what I read, Mega Man was inspired by animes. He looks a bit like Astro Boy (1958), without the armor. Astro Boy is an android created by a scientist who lost his son. He has a robotic family. The robots have different abilities. Some robots were evil and Astro Boy turned them into good. I'm not saying Astro Boy inspired Mega Man, but they share several main ideas, and, either, Robocop is one among several inspirations (taking advantage of the movie's popularity), or it was just an accidental coincidence (that happens a lot: Newton and Leibniz attacked each other because they developed the derivatives almost at the same time, but they lived in countries that we're very far away).
Movie that never gets old
A classic never gets old
0:44 you can see the Robo prop losing a foot at the bottom of the screen.
robocop's broken calf piston at 1:16 those were apparently very difficult to keep on the suit
I have a little doll as deco and thats the first thing it broke lmao
Gotta love that little look that Cain gives Robocop at 0:25
its like "oh okay, thats how we're going to do it?"
who was worse..cain or clarence?
@@billybobs1705 Cain’s probably worse than Clarence. I don’t think Clarence was this psychotic in the first movie.

I know! That was commitment!!!
I was just sad that one second he's polishing a glass in peace and the next hi's whole career is ruined :(
You mean commercials like sun block?
To this day that I think that looks so real - like he was getting pulled under the wheels!
@@MrJoowoneeno I believe that wasn't exactly planned. I think he was hurt if I remember correctly.
Robocop 2 was ultra dark and violent, but at the same time had some extremely hilarious slapstick moments. A well balanced movie lol.
Yeah that was very incompetent not punching through the windshield and taking that guy out from the start. He endangered a lot of people.
The first one is pretty dark too
1:15 Heads up, Robocop
I love how RoboCop emerges from the dust clouds at 0:02
it's SO heroic looking!
Imo, This is an underrated movie. It may not be as memorable as the first but still is a classic.
Hits a wooden pole, makes the sound of metal hitting metal....
For the lols.
0:02-0:04 The clip of RoboCop that used to illustrate his survivability was better than the T-800 in the Terminator vs RoboCop episode of Death Battle.
this has better and action then most cgi action movies today.
Great acting from the extra at 0:48.
When Robocop thinks its the T1000..😂😂
RoboCop=Classic
When I was I lil kid I remember watching that scene where he hits the wooden pole, I began laughin so hard at the sound it made when robo hit that pole
Same here, I couldn't stop laughing at this scene and also the "Patience Lewis" scene at the end of the movie.
I saw this movie is pretty funny when he runs into a telephone pole
This movie bring me to my past child memories
Rizal Zha me too.
His entire foot falls off at 0:45
Wow, nice vision
True. Filming this movie must've been really hard.
There's no way nobody was injured when that van went through the wall of the Bar. The Bar Tender looked to be in a panic and actual pain, not acting, real!
Boy this city streets haven't changed much since 1990 looks pretty much the same now
Robocop movies are the least kid movie kid movies
Very satisfying when the truck breaks the bar
Ah yes a bulding can't stop him but a wood pole can good job
RC 1 + 2 brilliant. RC 3..nope!
“You’re coming with me”….You tell ‘em RC!!!
Damn robocop couldn't even get a shot on the windshield?

man I am laughing my ass off at this you ran into the light pole
is this LA 2021 ?
i prefer the first film, changing director clearly made this movie different even with peter weller and nancy allen in it !

Me when a Karen attaches to my car after I asked her to wear a mask
Lately I’ve been realizing that only the first one is worth it
I enjoyed Robocop 2 and Robocop 1
He's been nerfed. . .you NERFED ROBOCOP
where are the sparks coming from when he's wearing some plastic suit
Pffft, as if Detroit would ever look this good.
Imagine this they make robocop v terminator
Tall about a holy bartender
Holy bartender, that's a great one.
Yeah, that's what I call a Ripper!
Wow! Damn.
:03 Nice shot.
Sometimes i wonder if Weller tried to put this suit back on would he die in the attempt.
Do you think the game Mega Man inspired Robocop?
I mean think about it. Both are blue and robots who were rebuilt.

Well why not go full on cartoon and just leave his arm on the door at the end and be like "they don't make em like they used to" geez
Jesus I don't remember Robocop being this useless.
Maybe because ocp did something to him
OCP messed with his brain. They put “a bunch of nonsense” in him.
@Orah Mudri the new Robocop from 2013 is better
@BT3Ks_P4F lol
I think he’s robostopping
Wait, I thought he had aimbot
I'm really lovn robocop in mk11 and tho alot of people said wtf when he was announced
Why did he save his lives
Alright, if this movie had had good execution, it could've been okay, but this film was executed horribly...
I love it! Has its satire moments and that's what makes it great to me ha
Was it hell.
I agree - terribly executed movie.
Doesn't make sense when robo cop was on truck his fingers don't have suction like humans do
