Don't forget that the Rapidstrike is 20$ on Walmart right now.
I bought 5
Went out of stock, sadly.

The accutrooper is also 25 bucks

My theory is that Hasbro assumes that all non-Nerf dart blasters are unreliable, easily-breakable pieces of trash, but hilariously, in a blatant (and frankly insulting) effort to rake in more profits, they became the very thing they wanted to defeat.
You were the chosen one!
@@kyleeberhardt6402 YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO DESTROY THE CRAPPY OFF BRANDS, NOT JOIN THEM

Huh makes you wonder, where will companies from today be in a thousand years
And the rapidstrike had 2 top rails whie this thing had one.but the lower irons are too restrictive and the uppers were too high,so i hope its for that reason.

@@mechanwhal6590 you were supposed to make good blasters not make shitty reskins of them
If he actually had slept on it (literally), I bet the cheap plastic wouldn’t have held up. Come on Nerf, I’m used to being able to use my blasters as pillows.
which is the most comfortable?
bro same
yeah
@@obamaminion418 definitely the rebel blasters with their curves and no sharp edges. Their patterns also make great throw pillows.
Don't sleep with toys.. sleep with steel. and aluminum..
Nerf is having a more corporate mindset now. at this rate they might end up like Atari when they focused on quantity over quality after that their company died
yes. have you been to walmart lately? half that stuff in the "nerf" aisle is adventure force, and i would be surprised if it's not selling better than nerf. i just went there to pick up an aeon pro but i was looking at all the other stuff and... i had both nerf and bootleg blasters when i was a kid, and ANY one of these adventure force blasters would have been so much cooler to grow up with.
When we all switch to DZ spectrums instead of the out of stock stryfes:
Hasbro: WHAh why are we losing customers i mean we launched two new lines! and they were NEW! *crying*
Nerfers: Alright whos gonna tell him that the blasters are crap?
@Paul Martin I think they're totally going into the brand deals. I mean, look at what happened with LEGO. nobody wants to buy non-branded Lego sets anymore
@@adog3129 ikr they lost all creativity. It’s annoying
The LEGO pieces are and remain good.
If one simply buys sets for parts, any apparent lacks of creativity can be easily disregarded.
I saw the W*ard*n at walmart.
I bought every single one they had.
I went home.
I got my sledgehammer.
I saved a few kids and parents from early depression.

I SALUTE YOU!

People who actually know what their doing when it comes to “nerfing”, are moving their way to Dart Zone. I absolutely love my Aeon Pro
In my country we dont have dartzone
Dart Zone is only an North American thing, they have little to no market presence in over half of the blaster markets and that is not going to change any time soon.
I'm big into nerf and still staying on it.
@@Alexander_C69 Based on the fact that they're out-performing Nerf at their own game, they might be able to branch out into more markets. Although I guess Nerf has the advantage of near-universal brand recognition.
Or people can just buy what they want to buy and not shill for any one company. Also being a performance nerfer is not required to “know what you’re doing when it comes to nerf”.
It’s ideas like this that are making the nerf community so toxic nowadays
If seeing the plastic parts from the Volt was any indicator of the quality, then you're in for a treat when you mod that. You'll basically be replacing everything to make it actually decent.
And how many of the typical Nerf market are actually going to be modding the internals of their blaster? Maybe 1% ? Because like it or not, the average "nerfer" isn't an adult trying to make Nerf blasters a serious hobby. It beggars belief when supposedly "intelligent" adults can't understand what Nerf is meant to be, it's core market and the people who typically buy them. Instead of modding foam dart blasters, move on something designed to be faster and more accurate in the first place.
I believe Dart Zone is one great blaster away from forever being known as the giant slayer. And that's exactly what that blaster should be called, "The Giant Slayer"
Im waiting for a pro stryfe style blaster. I think thats what would really put them over the edge
An automatic blaster the size and cost of a Stryfe firing 5 shots/second reliably would be nice to have.
I may be in the airsoft range bracket, but airsoft guns can't be used to shoot random things in a house with no ill effect.
@@brokcen2748 u mean the spectrum?
@@thenumber102k no something in the pro line that shoots the 140 to 150 mark and shoots half darts out of the box.
@Kurtis Wagner my wishes have been answered
N-Strike Elite 2.0 in a nutshell: oof.
Not deserving of n strike.
About that rev trigger issue your friend talked about, there actually IS a mechanical magazine lock that prevents you from pulling the rev trigger without a mag in. Looks like it can be overcome with enough force, apparently.
You: Ah i'm the turbine, brand new, looking good (with a smaller tip according to drac) with my lil accessories on my magwell, i'm the latest hot shit.
Rapidstrike: That older guy she tells you not to worry about
This blaster isnt half as bad as most of the elite 2.0 stuff, but thats just me, definitely interior to literally anything else in terms of modability though (like classic elite 2.0 style)
@@Jurgensen1 At least it's better than the Warden lol
Mine performed really well for some reason, it was hitting like 80FPS on the single shot and like 70 for full auto. So I’m not sure what’s going on but this one is much better than the other elite 2.0 ones
@@archie3547 maybe cause u in Canada?
My local Kmart started stocking the Elite 2.0 blasters here in Australia recently, and at the same time, the orange Stryfe came back into stock at $19AUD.
The Stryfe is actually cheaper than the Phoenix at retail right now. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.
Pun-intended.
Thanks for the informative video Drac! Great content as always, can't wait for the mod guide!
Elite 2.0? More like "obsolete they go!" I hope...
Oh wait I got another! Bold and Brash? More like "stocks will crash!"
Honestly I'm just glad that I still have my EAT, I don’t wanna see what replacement they make for the alpha trooper
Btw, how's the deathdealer doing?
To be honest, I was fully expecting this to turn out to be yet another Stryfe reskin that they just lied about being full auto.
In the end, that may have been a better option.
Come for the reviews, stay for the Spongebob memes
always
Bought this as a casual blaster to keep stock and not mod at all, I actually consider that 70fps elite performance to be the sweet spot where I can hand it off to my little cousins without worrying about an eye getting shot out. Nerf guns are in the end, toys, so I guess it works fine for that target audience. However, the mag release basically ruins it, but I managed to fix it without opening the blaster.
I sliced the mag release tab out from the mag well with a box knife. I can’t speak for the consistency from blaster to blaster so this might not be an option for everyone, but the fit in my mag well is tight enough regardless of the mag release lock, that the mag release is unnecessary. The rev trigger lock alone keeps the mag in fine, as either inserting or pulling out a mag requires you to forcefully click past that lock. The fit is tight enough that the mag release is 100% redundant and pointless. Now I ignore the mag release entirely and just firmly tug the mag out, which I already had to do the exact same when I still had to push the mag release in. I can shake the blaster, smack it, hit the mag, etc, and it stays in place, so problem solved.
me in school: uhh this is so boring

me: quits zoom meeting
It's showtime
"Like their evolving...backwards." -Drac 2020
“Blast on” is the hobby officially dropping the term nerf? About time!
Acually, i own a turbine. It's pretty good except the super hard mag release. One simple solution, use your thumb. Also just use elite darts with this, basically budget AA-12
This was the blaster that convinced me 2.0 is intended to be a money sink.
Not only does it have all the problems with shitty extruded plastic leaf springs and the clips and the solvent welds...
The gear box for the pusher is /open sided/.
Every one of these blasters is _designed_ to break as quickly and easily as possible, with as much frustration to repair as they can manage so parents will throw them out and buy another.
Hi Pat! Thanks for your work behind the camera! Good insights too.
It's evolving, just backwards ~ Pewdiepie
I don’t know why you would even buy one of these. Walmart currently has their early Black Friday deal going and you get get a Rapid Strike for $20.00.
true
But this is smaller and shoots faster
I just wish dart zone would release their own rapid strike already. Hyped for the mk3
did you like it? :D
I might pick one up for the shell I love that look honestly.
I like the turbine because of it's high R.O.F at 5 DPS. It does have its problems like the magwell and the rev trigger but i've used it so much that i have been able to get by with it
Also I genuinely thought the camera just floated about by itself
Title: " Bold and Brash', more like..."

Nerf: Sorry, must’ve missed that one.

I got the turbine new today and LOVE it
I still have my modulus regulator. Great full auto blaster and completely upgradeable.
Ye me too, still considering buying this tho
Elite 2.0 more like Elite POO.0
DUDE YOU FUCKING KILLED THEM
Hasbro cutting Corners to save pennies per product? Well as a Transformers fan, a Star Wars fan, and someone who occasionally buys Marvel Legends I am shocked. Shocked I tell you! Okay, not that shocked.
Hit the top of the may release so your fault
My Walmart sells the BLUE Rapid Strike for $40.
@AwesomeFacegaming Is that online?
Thanks for taking one for the team!
The turbine actually has one fewer tactical rail than the rapid strike did. Not even the elite 2.0 main gimmick is worth it in this piece of garbage!
Dang, I haven’t seen this channel in YYYYEEEEAAAAARRRRSSSS...like 8 years at the least......HE HAS A FACE?!
OGs will remember the “face reveal” that was just a John Cena meme.
When taking it apart there is 18 tabs all along the gun and handle, the handle does separate but when I opened mine it was easier to leave it on. Really miss just having screws
Hi! I bought the FLAK for my birthday after your video, and so far assembly is going well! However, I'm having trouble with screwing the piece that takes the air from the plunger (ramR) not screwing into the cap properly. If you have any advice, I'd appreciate it.
I tested it and it’s not bad 4/5 i would say pretty good but depends how and where you buy it so how you think rate it
From what I've seen, the main draw for this is that the flywheel assembly is fully removable, so you can make easy afterburners out of them.
I get the saving money on solvent welds and cheap jam doors (I disagree but it makes sense), but surely they didn't need to throw away their experience on ergonomics
With the Rapidstrike on sale for $20 right now I think I’ll stock up on a few of those while I can and pass on the -2.0. Yes, that’s negative 2.0, I said it, sooooo
Lord Drac
Another honest review. Thanks for showing this new blaster. Keep up the grest work.
Modded my one with a rewire worker black flywheels n neo rhino motors n running off either a 11.1 4000mah lipo or 11.1v 2000mah lipo with stock switches throughout except rev trigger n stock pusher motor n rifled barrel extension n I love it, its only hitting 136 fps n up to 37 meters without arching the blaster, can't wait for the mod vid coz according to my chrono I'm getting 14.2rps which according to modified rapid strike v hyperfire vid its shooting slightly faster, keen for another comparison vid n too see what potential the turbine actually has
I actually just brought one of these yesterday and for a flywheel full auto it goes pretty well
Keep in mind, these product are meant for kids ages 8 and up. That's their market. Hasbro doesn't make nearly enough money from hobbiests such as ourselves to justify gearing their product towards us. Instead, they make them knowing they will be shot indoors, occasionally aimed at another kid's head (likely a sibling) and thrown around like a rag doll. With that being said, they also assume that most parents will think their kids were too rough and simply broke it, likely buying another one in the future. It's all business to them. Whatever makes them the most money. However, with the rise of larger companies, Hasbro isn't the only player in the game anymore and if they want to remain in business, they will have to change either their quality or their price. It's simple, Hasbro doesn't care what we want. They only really care what kids want and kids are far less picky than us.
Top five Friday idea
Top best nerf ar
Top best nerf flywheel blaster
Top five worst blasters
Top five best nerf gear
Top five rarest blaster you own
Top fire best RPG
Drac plz do something in my list !!!!
One of the two good 2.0 blasters (along with the commando)
I think that blaster is good I brought one yesterday and had no problems with it
I’m unable to get the nerf Stradohawk because in Canada it’s after market price is about 180$ and up, (including shipping) but I did just get three rapid strikes on a pretty good deal.
love the WotC dig at the end.
np please do get started on wizards of the coast?
whats
whizzers of the coast?
This is probably the only good elite 2.0 blaster
Yup
I have it and shot my scousins eye and suspended for 9 hours ugh
LOL. that little jab at WOTC was perfect
Pat's full name is Pathew
conclusion: do not buy any elite 2.0 blasters, just buy normal elite ones
I saw new rapidstrikes on sale at walmart for $20 a few days ago
About the Rev trigger issue. My wonderful wife got me a nexus and aeon pro for my birthday but also got and Ultra 1. Both triggers felt crunchy and after the 3rd use the Rev trigger broke. I really think we should consider renaming the hobby at this point.
If Nerf don't pick their blasters back up and do what the community wants for the hobby and not saving a few pennies, then in a few years, the dart blasting community will turn to Dart Zone and Adventure Force, and Hasbro will have to get rid of the "#1 dart blaster" on their blaster boxes because they will fall so far back they will have to stop the blaster production completely.
Drac: do we wanna interchange darts
Me: *OCD INTENSIFIES*
Pat needs to lift weights. I can see he has muscular potential.
I'm 18, do I have potential?
Me: Mom can we get rapidstrike?
Mom: We have rapidstrika to home!
Rapidstrike at home:
Got a Turbine for $20. That I think was worth it.
Haven't put it through the runner, but yes, the mag release is a far cry from what came before, but for the price I got it at I think that is worth it.
I mean tbf about the performance drop in full auto that's always been a thing, and actually from my memory most battery powered blasters were only like 65 fps on the high end stock
1 word Drac Corruption
i'd buy this just for the 18 round mags with the baseplate..
Walmarts have this thing for $20 right now as part of their early Black Friday deals
All Dart zone needs to do now is make a full auto fly wheeler that hits 100fps out of box, That looks good. Bing bam pow. Final nail in hasbros coffin. As always love the video Drac. Thanks for fighting the good fight and telling it how it is.
But dart zone doesn’t available worldwide
For the same price, you could pick up a Dart Zone Pro and a pack of the DZP half-darts and it'd be more quality for the dollars dropped.
Give us more Pat! The second opinion is good!
I regularly have the same problem with Adventure Force darts in my Rapidstrike (but nothing else). Maybe just a problem with Nerf's full-auto pushers?
Dude Perfect fucking loves Elite 2.0 and especially the Turbine so clearly it has fans.
Don't look at the checks being mailed to Texas from Hasbro too closely.
Have you even TRIED Adventure Force waffles in it?
I definitely want to hear your opinion on what Wizards of the Coast is doing right now
The ONLY hasbro products worth buying when it comes to nerfing is rival, which is sad since it seems they're slowly phasing out rival.
Hey drac, you forgot the rapidstrike links
The pusher was broken on my rapidstrike as well
Black Friday at Walmart has the rapidstrike for 20 dollars
I think that ess your PB on the batteries!
I’m 13 and I find it easy to use my thumb to release the magazine and I can’t find a rapidstrike because I live in Australia so it suits mean
I’m glad that I got the rapid strike when I did because now they are like 150
No matter how much we argue about nerf or adventure force we can all agree that we don’t like airsoft
The rapidstrike is now $20...
Yes yeet the elite darts over the fence!
I actually found it for 20$ on walmart, which is REALLY REALLY cheap, so i bought it, im waiting for it rn so yea
I got one for the same price, but debating taking it back for the motoblitz , but i like the full auto , and new 18 round mag
The only biggest con I personally have for the turbine is the magazine release, other than that it's fun in my opinion
Damn. I might want a Turbine. Rapidstrikes are non-available in Japan.
I saw one in the flesh for 2x the US prices.
I think.
's big.
Both my Walmart’s has rapidstrikes and they are currently $20.
Damn. Nerf got nerfed.
The only thing the Turbine really has over the RapidStrike is the rate of fire, but even that has better alternatives within the Nerf brand alone like the HyperFire and the Regulator, of which I have several.
It has a higher rate of fire than the hyperfire
I would get the Stratohawk,but I can't find it in stores near me ;W;
Sorry mate, but youre not doing a mod guide on this. There are a few screws, the rest is glue and clips
I for one would like to hear a rant of your opinions of Wizards of the Coast (maybe not on this channel).
