- The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo is out and the hype is off the charts! So today we'll of course listen to some Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth music. This one is the Materia Guardian theme. I was surprised to find out it is based on one of my favorite battle thmes of all time, Let the Battles Begin from the original Final Fantasy 7.

Its always so difficult to strike a balance between modern remakes of classic tracks but they really nailed it in this one. Its really incredible.

Phase two: takes the air buster theme, OG fight theme, and the intro to One Winged Angel and makes it original.
Phase three: opens with the melody of the main theme of FF7, they want to give major focus on the main theme for some reason because that very distinct synthetic sound. Also the song ends with the same thing.
Yes!!! As soon as I heard this song I wanted Davi to do a breakdown of it! There's so much to analyze and bits that I recognized but couldn't pinpoint. It's an incredible piece. I can't wait for the Rebirth soundtrack to release, it's going to be the soundtrack of my year 😄

AC fine, but too much "movie" elements, remake vers is more for gameplay tension/hype

Man, it's a bit of a shame that you ended up with a video where they only recorded directly from gameplay without any extensions, cuz they're going through the fight so quickly that they keep skipping through phases before the music loops. There's only like half of the original track in this video.
Yeah I was waiting for the slap bass part to come in and it didn’t, I was so confused.
The best part of these soundtracks is that the cool embellishing of classic themes isnt unique to Airbuster or Materia Guardian--each boss/vital battle track does it in its own unique way, and gives the battles their own unique flavor. You can tell its music written by fans of the original music

Hi Davi, it's very soon! But it's okey. Suggestions: Malum In Se-The Last Door (the fight with Malus yesterday in SotC reminded me this song because of the name) and Sobre sus Costales. Blasphemous 2(This one fits so well with the area beautiful).
About the video, good music and the video is very funny jajajaja, especially at the end with your expressions.
That's it! Maybe I will start suggesting other tracks because in playing Rain World and Grime (although I think with Grime I have the same feeling I had with Hollow Knight about the music, but I think I like more Grime's OST so far). Well, ¡Adiós Davi, have a nice day!

Did you do a breakdown of FF7REMAKE Sephiroth theme. It is interesting, because the music changes with the boss stage.
I recommend listening to the music from the first God Of War games if you're not familiar with them ! Especially God Of War 2 and 3, which have amazing music like Rage of Sparta, Perseus Fight, Pandora's Song, God of War 2 Main Theme, etc

Hello there again, I have a new soundtrack that I think you should analyze and break down, and here is the recommendation:
The game this OST comes from is a game called Splatoon, a very very interesting game with very interesting music, of course, the lore is very very uhm complicated, but what is more complicated is the music, there are literally hundreds of songs but the songs that I would like to talk about today are from the new DLC that came out called Side Order, here are the music recommendations that I think you would possibly like:
3. Ech0 0nslaught
4. New world Order
5. Spectrum 0bligato
6. #47 Onward
All of these songs literally SLAP real hard, but the ones that SLAP super hard is Spectrum 0bligato and #47 Onward, and also Ech0 0nslaught, and also New world Order, but when I mean they SLAP I mean it, the songs's instrumentals and sound go so hard like literally listening to a top band sing in a new way of singing. Honestly the Splatoon series itself have some of the best songs that could ever be made, with how they make the weird moaning and creepiness in 0ct0picon is so scary, it's even supposed to be based on something scary and New World Order is so creepy like the world is ending. The music in the actual game SLAPS super hard too, and if you don't believe me, play the actual game for yourself, Nintendo really outdid themselves with this game's OST. Ok that's enough ranting about Splatoon...
You missed the Mako Reactor theme that plays for a few seconds. I wish you'd seriously tackle Remake and Rebirth's OST in chronological order, starting with a re-listen to the PS1 OST - you will not be able to appreciate it properly otherwise and you'll miss leitmotifs that you're not familiar with.

The video skipped a big portion of phase 3. You missed a lot of the song.
i gotta say, i recently discovered your channel and love u . For games that u enjoy, check out ff7 rebirth and remake. 2 games out of 3 of the old ff7 games. the third game is still on pregress. Plenty of new remixes by the legendary composer and someone new. One of the only modern games that make the cut of being fun.. Also check out ua-cam.com/video/f1F6IUlnjaw/v-deo.html and its previous video. That means there will be new old games in the future if the trend goes on. This year and next year there are already a few. As a game composer, i hope u'll be able to bring the fun back to games.
