I am partial to single-column, paragraph, black letter (my opinion). But the Sovereign Collection is just beautiful. The only modern Bible that I have seen that is similar is the Schuyler Canterbury (double-column) or Schuyler Treveris (single-column), but at a very hefty price difference.

One question, are you justified by your own personal faith which can ebb and flow depending on the circumstances of the this world or are you justified by the Faith of Christ (Gal 2:16 KJ) which is gifted to us? (Eph 2:8)

I know it's not goat skin but $65 for an edge lined bible seems amazing to me. A blessing for someone who can afford a $200 bible.

I know! I was soooo Surprised... IMHO, 'genuine' leather will outlast most binding, so to see this edge-lined is such a win!

It's a pity that the preface is abbreviated and the Special Abbreviations page is now also missing. ie. What's Bg., Kt., Qr., in the translator notes? Most people would need help with all that. The Maclaren is a more wholesome edition because it includes all that traditional NKJV front matter.

Nice review! I'm looking forward to seeing the wide margin version which is coming out soon. However, I'm not a red letter fan. Do you know if there are any wide margin/journaling bibles that are all black letter. It's the one thing that I holding my back from making this my main translation

I have the WM from cambridge, and it is not a red letter edition.

Hi Dwayne, my name is Barbara, I am an 83 year old widow living in Cape Town South Africa . I have an unusual request and hope and pray you will ne able to give me the advice or information I seek. I am visually impaired and am seeking a giant or large print compact Bible. I have a number of giant and large print Bibles which are too heavy to hold whilst reading. I would prefer any of the following Bibles. CSB ESV. NKJV ERV.
I do understand how complicated this request is so I am taking a chance that you know of a Bible that fits my description. I don't mind having separate New and Old Testament books split up if that's even an option.
Please be so kind as to share your knowledge of Bibles with me.

thats a tough one, I don't know anything off hand, Large print always equals large bible. But with that being said, you could consider something electronic like a kindle, they're easy to read an you can make the size of font anything you like.

@@Dwayne_Green Not being the cheap boxes used for shipping the Bible, but the beautiful box (as you yourself described it) that comes with it and one keeps to protect the Bible, it was kind of painful! 😶 Other than this, nice review and nice Bible as well!
