- So you have a synth module (or other electronic project) and it needs a front panel, what do you do? There's everything from Front Panel Express to spray paint and Sharpie. FPE is $$$ and Sharpie in my hands doesn't give me the look I want. So here's what I do.

I print on 81/2 by 11 self adhesive mailing labels. No need for spray . then put laminate on the front and then cut my holes out. Just peel off backing and stick to panel. Works great.
Thank you very much for this! Finishing my project with this method, looks awesome!
Given me some ideas for a semi modular with a nasty unreadable interface, thanks.
Blue Peter modular, nice! Very retro.
I've been looking for a better way to make panels.. I'm gonna try this out! Keep up the great work!
This is great but I was thinking instead of that plastic , spray several coats of clear epoxy. This way the paper is coated over along the edges , should help from peeling up...just a thought.
Thanks for the info! Love your videos :)
Nice approach. I've made a few and DYMO labels do NOT look too good. I'll try your ideas out. The only drawback I can see would be because of my own slipshod work.
❤
great method. how thick is the aluminum plate? do you use thicker ones for large modules?
thanks for the video. Did you tried with sprayed clear coat instead of plastic adhesive sheets?

that 40cm sequencer turned out so freaking nice!
Thanks, I was pretty happy with it!
I thought your design looked quite nice!
Maybe 3D print it?
Waste of material, aluminum plate also works as a shield
