Very nice Mr. Franco! One of these days when I have a day off, I plan to start a bunch of carved baits. Your videos just make me wish I had time to devote 100% effort into doing so
I have to "reverse engineer" what others have done in order to trouble-shoot issues and problems. But you truly engineered this lure in reverse and did it well! Nice job Franco!
At first I thought let's just pop in to support the channel and skip to the end because I've got so many crank baits already and really feel like I've got that particular type of lure figured out (thanks to my favorite engineer), but as usual I made it to the end and what a happy one it was. Franco really understands the fine art of lure porn. Don't ever change the music for the underwater shots. It's too good.
Franco you do not disappoint. Another great build. love the grain on the wood especially after the clearcoat. what a better way to use a dime since it is probably only worth a few pennies. LOL. Great job.
I wish you would write a book, a study of 200 lures or something like that. One page one lure, explaining how it works, why it works, what makes it work, and what would affect its action if tampered with. Instead, we have catalogs with corporate marketing nonsense and books with collector values. A few how to make lures books don't go into principles all that much, but focus on recipes.
I wrote down the calculations for the weights. I also looked back at an older video. I have a glider all shaped and will try weighting. Fingers crossed, Cool action on that and possibly some flash from the bib?
Really like the look of te lure and it has really good action. Love the under water shots, so you can get a better appreciation for the action. Great job
Franco... What would a pre 64 silver dime do? And how about a golden shiner spray job on that wood ? Very nice job. The way that dimes flashes brings a whole new dimension to the lure. Maybe a polished copper dime sized disc might be in order for experiment?
Any chance of you executing one of those massive Musky jerkbaits, the ones with grooves in the head (Reef Hawg) or metal tail (Suick)? I would love to see your interpretation of such lures and to study your explanation of principles behind them. Thank you!
Always love watching the videos you put out!! Thanks for all the tips and can’t wait to get a UV cure station setup for 1 day lures builds. I need to just start recording myself but need to wait till the temperature dies down a bit for my camera
Just a quick point, did you consider factoring in the drill holes that would take the hook hangars? Although minimal, as you were talking such minute amounts it might be worth considering the volumes of the holes. Just a thought.
I live on Chickamauga Lake the most over pressured mudhole in the south. I fish to be alone and that doesn't happen anymore so I sold my Ranger but kept my 1985 Lowe 16' flat bottom. In 2017 I did a makeover on the boat and the Super Pickle was born. I cleaned 1985 and 2017 pennies in hot sauce, sprayed them with clear lacquer, and siliconed them in the live well as kind of a wishing well. I like projects with the date on them.

Crazy Little (idea), but hear me out... sixpence for the lip, paint it like the red special. May or May not catch fish, but that lure would be a Killer Queen.
I really appreciate all the thinking and effort put into your work! Now that said I'm going to attempt to make a spin on this lure caveman shoot from the hip style using a dime and some cedar.
Well it floats nose down with probably not a whole lot of room to spare but the action is not there. I'm not done messing with it but I think it might partially be the shape I went with. I kind of went with a boxy shape with a boot tail carved into it and vertical ribs on the side.
Very beautiful bait Ingeniero, it is surprising the amount of action it has being such a small piece, I wonder if maybe a larger coin would work the same? Looking forward to the next video!
Great video! I always look forward to your new entries. My mother is now enjoying your show, she is visiting here in Maine for a few weeks and watching what I watch. (She's 83 years old) Do you play the guitar that is in your intro?
I have a very unique idea about a Buzz bait but I'm not an engineer and I need help? I have tried several prototypes but none seem to work..... need some Franco Magic on this one

You're coming at us with all this math to make a lure. Then we get Marlingbaits coming out here who's like "yup, this stick is good stick" and ends up catching a bass or muskie on it.

Thanks for all the weight guesses and kind words. The guessing time is up. I'll announce the winner in the next video.

Thanks Franco. We love knowing how a lure works. It's amazing. Thank you for you're skilled hands. He's a good painter too
I try....
You went a little deeper on the math this go round, great video, sweet looking little crank bait!
The process of making the lure is more than I would have imagined. Great job sharing the process
We'll I've shared some very simple lure builds too. Check my playlists.
That was amazing to watch sir, love the nerdy stuff 💯
Thanks.
Love the spalting on the wood and the action is awesome! Great job as always.
Thanks
Wow, that's a great lure design and a beautiful bait. I would be afraid to lose it!
One of your best looking baits yet!
After your video on gold vs silver I think you should use a gold coin!

Not an expert in economics but pretty sure a dime is still worth ten pennies.😂
Wonderful video! Thanks for the tutorial on the math of it! Great information.

Thank you...the underwater shots are pretty challenging...glad you enjoyed them.
Great engineering example of “starting with the end in mind”!🙂
Beautiful work Francisco! Your videos are always informative!
Thanks
That turned out amazing ! Definitely hope you expand off of this experience to lead into other builds . Thank you sir
Great minds. A couple years ago, i tried adding a lip to my plugs. First was using coins, then i did some with various shapes of keys.

that lure is MONEY

I remember making a wake bait out of a broom handle and a quarter once. It had a really nice slow wobble to it.

The weighted bib gave that bait a super tight wiggle. Was that due to being round? Excellent production.
It was a combination of weight location and tie on eye placement

Thanks. I
When I saw thumbnail i thought you put badass flames on it. Lol That thing swims like a dream do you think the heavy bill helps aid in that?
Yes I think the weight of the bib is part of it.

I don't know how to make a banana skin🤔
Thank you for the math lesson. It would be nice to hear a little bit about actual profesion
