    Would be amazing to see this GTR combination do a one on one shoot out with a V8 Supercar at Bathurst, just to see the difference.

    why not use a sequential gearbox ??

    • @MotiveVideo
      @MotiveVideo  8 років тому

      Most likely reason is cost. H-pattern dog boxes trade for half the price second hand as what a Holing did at the time.

    • @trixx6666
      @trixx6666 8 років тому +1

      they are running a precision turbo and a motec m800.
      I dont think money is the proplem !!

    • @MotiveVideo
      @MotiveVideo  8 років тому +1

      Precision isn't expensive compared to others. Its a privately owned car, so who knows where the budget lines were drawn

    • @trixx6666
      @trixx6666 8 років тому

      am just saying that they could have spent an extra 10000 on a better gearbox.

    • @MotiveVideo
      @MotiveVideo  8 років тому

      easy to say than do
      all seqwtutnial does is change the gear lever direction and shorter throw,. Both are dog engagement and helical cut

    Didn't Cyberevo go faster down the straight an with less power an not only that but a better Time in pro class ;) Hehe

    • @MotiveVideo
      @MotiveVideo  7 років тому

      no and no. it did do a better time, only just, but in pro class. this is an open class car.

    • @jjsorenavki7005
      @jjsorenavki7005 7 років тому +1

      Even if it's a different class it must suck when Gtr's never make it into Pro class an Evo's always do Less power > Faster times, Smaller displacement More lag, less torque, I thought Gtr was King ^^

    Don't get why Australians say gdr .

    • @MotiveVideo
      @MotiveVideo  8 років тому +9

      We dont. It's just our accent. Don't worry, other countries sound weird to us when they pronounce some car names.

    • @leecoates4082
      @leecoates4082 8 років тому +1

      same as usa says nissarn instead of nissan

    • @MotiveVideo
      @MotiveVideo  8 років тому +2

      To use, America sais it as "knee-san" which sounds very weird to us. It;s not just our accent either, Nissan Australia sais it the same way as us in their television commercials here so obviously we think it is meant to be said that way. A Japanese person saying it sounds different too. We just say it as we read it
