thank you so much for making this easy to follow! imma try it out at like 50-60 units and just go like 40 turns in and see if the AI is aggressive or just chills in the capital waiting like you said.
I found this great mod, it's called le monte d'el empire, it let's you play as any minor nation on any year (1800-1815) each year coming with more nations, furthermore there are a lot of additional units and it comes with its own sound submod, I strongly suggest you test it out, I only know 1 download tutorial and it's in German, if you get the mod, please, make a video on westphalia, to play as westphalia you will need to select 1807 on the launcher. -Smith
Yeah, I use this mod to, you need 2 files to download it though, also, wesphalia has the most grenadier types I've seen( if you enable the extra unit submod in the launcher)
Thank you been wanting to have big battles since i first got the game but hopefully there will be a mod that does 100 unit battles but also improves the ai
Which line in the ESF editor is the one that deals with the number of units a single fleet or ship can transport? Kinda tedious to have to use multiple ships to transport your invasion force 20 units at a time. I guess thats sort of realistic in the sense that itd be ridiculous that a single escort ship could handle more than 20 "invisible transport ships" but still if i had 30 or 40 ships in a fleet I should theoretically be able to transport a large force indeed :/
You can load more than 20 units onto a single ship by placing the army on land and while the army is still selected right-clicking on the ship while it is out on the water, the troops will walk themselves and the ship will move closer to a port or the coast to load them manually for you, you can't load more than 20 units using the normal method unfortunately
what else can the esf do? Any advice on how to create new units by using existing ones as templates? I'd like to change facing colours on some line infantry units to make new regiments. The makers of Darthmod did NOTHING for Wurttemberg.
@@realtomic Thanks for replying. How about increasing the number of a unit you can recruit, from say, 1 to between 2-4. Can esf do that? Then my units can be battalions rather than regiments. Much more historically accurate too.

That’s beyond my remit, but I’m sure there are tutorials out there. I would also try other mods, such as NTW3
