The title itself makes an almost philosophical statement. Tattoos are forever, no? But it’s “tattoo in reverse”. Essentially, the title undermines the principle promise of time. “Im unstable I’m not a show horse”.
This brings to mind the way tattoos represent this perpetuated and seemingly ubiquitous agreement, within the context of ink, the that we forever carry an objectively understood representation of meaning behind the ink.
This album is more than MMs general provocative nature, it’s proving to subvert expectations in an almost meta way.
