The most impressive thing about a lot of these songs from this era of Manson ('98-'04) is that they could come out today and they wouldn't even sound a day old. This track is so ahead of its time and still so sonically fresh it blows my mind

@@theultrawarrior7448 Antichrist Superstar is obviously a great album but I do think the production on it definitely makes it feel like a product of its time comparitively (and I don't mean that in a bad way at all) which is why I specifically said 98. Cus it's mainly Mechanical Animals and Golden Age that feel that way, very ahead of their time production wise. A bunch of tunes on Holy Wood too fit that bill so 98-04 feels more accurate when it comes to the point I'm trying to make. Love ACSS tho!

Fun fact: The Golden Age of Grotesque was the first ever album my mother bought me, thinking it was a funny clown on the album cover. I was about 10-12 years old at this time. The first song i played was this song and i played this on my grandma's cd player. My grandparent's faces were priceless. Plus, being a real curious boy, i found the videoclip ( this one) and kept spamming it whenever i visited grandpop and grandmom. Those were the days.
