For anyone wondering, the chance of getting 2 pearl trades in 4 trades is about 0.3%

How is it not the beat seed. He spawned in a fortress, he spawned near a village
Benex got a 5 eye when he was short on eyes, which is around .001%

Tbf could've said something similar about the previous 17-minute WR with that god seed

The biggest change with this run is that from now speedrun streams no longer will be "going for WR"

The bad thing about this WR is his spawn. The only way to beat it is if you find a seed this good plus you spawn at the village.

This was such great info on the run! It’s nice to hear it from someone who knows exactly what they are talking about.
I also enjoyed the information about the houses in the savanna village, didn’t know something like this existed before.
I thought the entrance meant that the portal can't be within 4-6 rooms of it so you don't need to check all rooms.

I'm sorry but no, it can definitely be beaten. Theoretically, you can get the same time in RSG as in SSG, but barring that, a god seed and perfect rng and sub 10 is entirely possible. However, if anyone gets sub 5, then I would say it's unbeatable

1: closer spawn to village
2: better piglin trades
3: quicker portal build
4: closer strong hold
5: quicker strong hold portal room
6: better Enderdragon RNG
7: less beds
8: more fluent movements
9: better blaze RNG
10: better food eating increments

Another thing that could cut up some secons is the fact that he got an end spawn just near it. It could have been far away or underground, which might have taken some seconds off the run

How does the time work? Ive noticed on a lot of speed runs the official time is like 10-15 seconds less than the timer

I played this seed in the blind. Before I seen his run. Just to try it. There is actually another lava pool right across the river in the desert. I didnt even see the lava pool in the grass.

The stronghold is next to a water temple
Acacia villages are good because the houses are made of logs so they can get sticks to trade with villagers food is like the bonus part

Why do speedrunners dig out the Blaze spawner?
so that more blazes spawn, eventually leading to the speedrunner getting their blaze rods quicker
To cover up from fireballs behind the spawner
It increases spawn rates. Blazes can spawn 4 blocks away in every horizontal direction and 1 block above and below the spawner. Every block in this area increases the chance of a spawn attempt failing and hence slows down getting blazes. The default setup cancels about 56% of spawn attempts, while just removing 1 full layer below means it only cancels about 35% of spawn attempts, which is a significant improvement.

be subtle about it (which is hard, since they have to find the seed themselves and they need to beat it before 14:56)
and last but not least, if they found out hes cheating (and its the good and well respected speedrunner thats doing the deed) hes gonna lose viewers , friends , and money really

Piglins drop 4-8 pearls in 1.16.1; there was only a small chance (I think 24%) that he got less than 12 total so it was worth it to just leave as fast as he could to save time.

I expected an analysis, but this guy is literally only saying 'this is unheard of' and stating things that can mess up the run. I liked the part where he explained how many blaze rods would be needed for what sort of run, although it was a bit on the long side. I also liked the little details like the 'seeing underwater' thing. I would also have appreciated it when he did go more into the Stronghold generation.
