You can use tab key to navigate to Respawn button and then hit Spacebar to click the button. So, not being able to Respawn is not a point here, imo.
Combine the two people together to get one person who cant right or left click

Just realized that if you have a touchscreen you aren’t clicking since you are touching therefore you can “left click” the respawn.

This is why Java needs the bedrock feature where you instantly respawn after death
There is a gamerule (/gamerule immediateRespawn true) in Java and you can activate it on the world generation screen, and you can TAB after you ALT+F4 the game to re-enter the server with ENTER

Shift-right-click works to take items.
Btw, you can respawn without left click. Press "Tab" and then "Enter" and you'll respawn.
Edit: The title is also the opposite of what you're doing.

@@user-kw3vg4jn8u You can right click, which splits the stack. But if it's only one item, it rounds up, you just grab the item. Plus you can just send it to your hotbar with your number keys if needed
