• Ben Vane (Loch Lomond)...
thanks for watching.
let me know if you have climed this munro and if so how you got on
It's a very straightforward hill. Good in winter, and also when you combine it with B. Vorlich on the other side of the dam.
Amazing effort and thanks for recording each step. We all know how difficult this can be. Doing this in July so your video helps massively 🙏🏻
glad you enjoyed it and good luck with you next climb.
Looks not too bad. I did Ben Vorlich yesterday. Going to do Ben Vane at the weekend if my legs are up to it, but tender right now.
let me know how you get on. the weather has been really good recently, which makes things easier
Alright Peter. It's Steve here (Kirsty's better half 😋). Just came across your channel as I just did Ben Vane this weekend. Looks like you had much better weather and views than I had.... couldn't see a thing!!! Great videos btw, keep them coming!!
nice one - thanks :)
Ben Vane's alot harder and and rocker than i thought it would be. Also the false summits kept catching me out!
One Ill not forget, by no means a biggie but man theres a lot of knee high "step ups" lol
Well done 🙌
nice one. Another one off the list.
it took me longer than i thought it would... theres a few false summits from what i can remember...
@@esperoutdoors9421 Yep its cheeky one that gives you a workout.
Did this one a few month ago in heat and high humidity it was not easy but the walk to and from the carpark adds a ridiculous amount of time on
it took me alot longer than i expected, due to the walkin in and out... the time on walking highlands is way off, or doesnt include the walkin/out.
Noice hill amazing 😉 I was thinking of climbing Ben vane
its great climb, and with the long walk in and out. its def a full day
Good vid, I'm heading from just south of Aberdeen bright and early tomorrow to tackle it :)
Hope you enjoy it!
@@esperoutdoors9421 I was lucky to get the most spectacular cloud inversion. A great day out. Tough wee mountain too!
@@Mouse2113 sounds like you had fun
6 hours !? Did you crawl up 😂??
the walk in/out from the car park does add alot of time. If only you could park at the very start... lol walking highlands has the time as 4.5 - 6.5. and i dont think i could have done it much quicker than 6 hours maybe 5:30 if i really pushed it, but im not the fitest or quickest of climbers.
what sort of time did you do it in ?
@@esperoutdoors9421 did it yesterday. Took just under 6 hours with a couple of breaks. Probably about 45 mins. Good going I reckon. Well done mate. Ignore the fools
@@WalterWhite-ne2uw its a great full day climb, and 6 hours is a decent time. well done!
