I needed to hear this message this morning. It's the little offenses that divide us. Powerful.
Isn't it? The devil is out to kill, steal and destroy and letting these little offenses or not attending to them as they surface, leads to separation and Satan loves it when we give in to his strongholds! Gotta rebuke him and fight back with the word and have the will so God can pave the way! What are you going to do? Give up? No, we are going to overcome and choose victory over darkness and I can tell you what, if someone chooses the things of this world over me, BYE! I move forward towards the prize! VICTORY! AMEN

@@trojanhorse9459 I understand brother. I really do. I just read an article about this from Lionel Windsor, he said that forgiveness is yours to give that's why it's so powerful. God is proud of you for taking the step to forgive her. If this is the Lord's will, He will touch her heart and give the reconciliation you're been praying for in His perfect timing. GOD has been speaking to me to tell you that He knows you're tired already. And even if you felt like you've already given up, He never will. Your greatest Intercessor, the Lord JESUS is praying for you both. His love for you both will keep you through. He's not done yet brother. 🙏

The little offenses that are done to you lead to bitterness , it builds up until you allow your bitterness to make excuses for why you cheat, why you get angry,.
Those things destroy you, your spouse, your children, your LIFE.

Furtick, Dude you are right on target on this!!!! I always say; "Don't get too comfortable in your relationships, you get too comfortable that's when it will all fall apart, the devil is sitting there stirring a pot that's going to explode." Why??? Because that's what he does and you won't even know it until it's too late. You can't be lazy in your relationships with your spouse, kids, friends, etc...I've been there and right this very moment I am at odds with my younger sister because we have let things fester to the point it finally all came to a head this time last year..we both are grown women and we have not spoke or seen each other in over a year and we live 10 minutes from each other. I have called, I have texted an apology to her but she refuses to get over it and I refuse to let that toxicity hold me back. So, we are divided over something that has been brewing for years. Both of us were right but refused to see it. I love my sister but if we weren't sisters she's not my cup of tea. Anyhooo!! Never go to bed angry, never leave the house angry, never miss an opportunity to hug and say I love you, because you might not get that chance again. Sometimes you can apologize and say I love you until the cows come home with no response , that's when you just have to let it go and let God handle it. Do I miss my sister?? Of course I do, but I have done all I know to do. Always remember; EVERYTHING CAN CHANGE IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE!!!
Sorry to take up so much time, but I felt the need to share because this is the devil's work and every day that goes by my sister's heart gets hardened even more and there is nothing I can do but pray about it. Thank you for your daily sermons Brother Furtick, I watch your messages every day, and I watch Elevation Live every Sunday at 9:30, and I am also a member of an EGroup. Thank you, you and your family are a blessing!!!
Lord you are preaching to the choir! My brother literally lives over my back fence and I haven't seen him in 2 months I can't depend on him as a big brother and yes we have always had our differences but anytime he ask I am there for him. My sister...whoo that's another whole can of worms. She really has some physiological problems and I try to remember that before I realize we can't be close EVER. BUT before my mom passed she told me to love them for who they are and love them from afar because they are not going to be there for you when I'm gone. She knew her children. I'm like you I've done all I know how, now I'm just leaving it in God's hands, and with that I remember about a year after my mother passed I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner at my mother's which was the tradition long story short my brother didn't want to come, so I was going to drive to his house to find out why. In route to his house around the corner a small voice said to me" Go from expectations to acceptance" and I turned around and went home and felt a peace like never before.
Let me say I understand both of your situations, I had the same with my siblings, but as I say HAD. Because now we are inseparable yeah we haven't seen each other for years because we lives in different countries, but what changes it my brother and sister is this... Isaiah 58.... I fasted the fast God said I requires of us and He would restore many generations and I have proven the Lord. I am encouraging both of you to sought the Lord in the fasting he ask us for and both of u will see the old waste place being restore. Love you all... God see and hear us all😘

@@feemac6561 sure... I'm with child now and I fasted every week... The Lord is about moderation.. eat moderately, watch tv moderately. It's really a balance of how we do things.
Please read Isaiah 58, He told us how to fast and funnily in is requirements there is nothing regarding sacrifice from food... He ask us to loose the bands of wickedness, stop speaking our words on His day, stop pointing fingers, let the oppressed go free, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, clothe the naked and not to hide ourselves from our own flesh.
The enemy does use those who are close to us. Offense do sometimes start small and build up slowly. The enemy is cunning. Grace is relationships is so necessary. So are good boundaries & open communication.
Man I stumbled upon his message on TBN about Anxiety / Stress, so I looked him up on UA-cam .... wow ... you can see the Holy Spirit at work .... thank you God
Wow this is pretty interesting. Everyday before i get off my bed I listen to this little messages. I asked God “What is your message for me today God?” And I come here and the video is usually the first one on my feed. Today I asked this question, but yesterday i had an argument with my husband. This was the video for me today. WOW! I had to pause and ask God “are you talking to me ?” 💕
Thank you for this message.... I am 44 and my sister is 47. We have always had a rocky relationship since I don't know when and bc of I can't even remember why. I have no idea when it all started or how it even turned out that way. I was so moved by your message that I literally stopped it halfway and texted my sister this: "I am sorry if I have ever offended you but please know that I have always looked up to you since I can remember. I think you are an amazing mother and wife and I adore your family and please know that I love you". She responded " Thank you but are you ok.. is anything wrong"... (I have epilepsy so maybe she thought I was sick or something) and I said, "I am fine but I really needed you to know this". ... her response.... "You are so sweet and I love you too"!!! Amen!!! I can't even begin to tell you how much joy this brought my parents!! Thank you and PREACH ON!! The people are listening!!
I have forgiven everyone that has done something wrong to me, but some of them I need to pray for because I cannot have them in our lives.

I went on youtube and I clikced on a video, but then this video came up and I decided to watch. Later on that day I read the bible and I found out that what I was reading was the same verses that Pastor Steven read on this video❤️
He is in our relationship deep. It's got me were I don't want live anymore. It's a real war with him tring to tear us apart. It's been just over a year

Yeah. what happens when the offense continues on and on. And the person doesn't seem to think the offense is their fault. At all!!

I Thank God that I always handle things quickly. People, will ask why did you apologize to them, you didn't do anything? It doesn't matter what or who said it first, if I think the wrong thought it's my duty to apologize whether they accept it or not. I have done my part. If they should die or I should, I wouldn't be able to repent or ask them to forgive me. Even though they are the one who make me upset. For the fact that I dwell on what they have said, is what causes the anger. In a day or more I will apologize to them. I feel better whether they do or not. Thank You Pastor for this Message.

You never know who God will use and I'm glad that He gave me the words to say because you never know who need a word from the Lord. God Bless You. Forgiveness seems hard to do but you can do it. With God all Things are Possible. Pray about the situation first before you talk the person and ask God to Keep them quiet, give them a receptive heart and an open mind, to receive what He has to say. He will do it. Question: In my bible study I was introduced to the ideal of the Devil and today Steve said, "I don't know if you believe in the Devil or not..." I really haven't taken the Devil into consideration be it relationship or elsewhere in my life. Given this sermon my question is "Did the Devil intervene in my relationship and take the relationship from me or did the Lord say look this is the relationship for you surrender it and I'll give you better". I ask because I say Lord why me, resisting the need to let go, a few sermons later I let it go and feel peace. I don't say its the Devils job. Hope I've made this clear. Just want to know if its the Devils work or Lord work.
