I live up north of Saskatchewan like really up north and I’m thinking of getting a crossbow with a 175 draw weight, but I don’t know what draw weight of a compound bow could kill a moose?
nice . its December and I'm thinking of hunting everyday . although I can hunt anytime I want but I chose to hunt on rut seasons only . I dont abuse my rights . I shot my deer last day of rifle season . my 1 shot of the yr . I have 19 more bullets in my box . so 19 more yrs of shooting . I've had many encounters with moose as well but I wasn't carrying anything which is the way it goes sometimes but whatever. cant wait to take my pse full throttle bow out next yr . it's only the fastest bow out there . right through the 💘.

I did not sadly. we were running out of daylight and were in the bush for a long time quartering and packing him out.

Legal minimum in saskatchewan is 40lbs. But it's never a bad idea to crank it up to 55-70lbs. A well placed shot is what is most important!

I was hunting just west of Edenwold. and yes theres some wildlife land there that i have hunted. other than that area not really though.

Thanks, im a little disappointed you cant see the arrow in flight but whatever. Manning a camera and hunting isn't the easiest thing to do.
