2006 05 18 Byron Bay High School, Byron Bay, Australia The video is a bit grainy, and audio has a "tin can" sound to it. There are some pretty nice zooms though.
This is THE band for me. I've probably seen them 10 or so times way back when they toured with Haste the Day, Zao, Still Remains, Winter Solstice, etc. Thanks for posting this.
I have accidentally seen them twice and just two years ago started digging deeper than 94 Hours and Through Struggle.... I am so happy to have rediscovered the perfection. Anything more core and it wouldve been too avant garde. Such a great blend of what is needed and what isnt.. Pushing the limit with unity.
Oh my god I cant believe they actually played morning waits live back in the day! i mean its only the ending of it but i wish they played or acknowledged the song more often. i wish they played it live because with their killer production now it'd be pure metalcore bliss!
@@keenman0403 Not true. I met Clinton Norris and asked him about this. He did perform on the album, even did some bass. The reason why they mentioned Dave Arthur being the one who performed the vocals in the This is Who We Are documentary is because they all said that at the time to save of the band (changing of vocals was a big deal, Josh wasn't the best when he joined at the time, he's much better now though), and he was fine with it. Though Phil did most of the bass because some songs kept changing so it was quicker for Phil to just record some bits rather than calling and waiting for Clint, showing him what the play and have him record it all over again. Phil wrote majority of the album. But Clint did record some bass lines still.
Saw them at Bumbershoot in 2006 and I'm pretty sure this was the same set, I will revisit this time and time again thank you my friend. You are legend!
This is the AILD line up for me. Clint was a beast on stage.
First time seeing as I lay dying. Slipknot, unearth, as I lay dying. Subliminal verses tour 2005.

Best band ever.
Best era of music
I agree with you 🤘🏻😎🍺
I saw em a year or two after this, and they were unbelievable live. Was my first metal concert with them, COB, Lamb of God, and God Forbid
Now that’s a god damn line up.
This band was amazing back then and I still listen to them 15 years later.
MORNING WAITS???? unbelievable. Wish it was the whole song though man
what a suprise - it is a very underrated song

after allt these years IMO morning is the best track of Shadows..
Dude I agree, morning waits is my favorite song off shadows are security
Bro, look at this masterpiece!!! The presence is awelsome, metalcore is masterpiece 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
we love skinny tim
He's not skinny here. It's just because he's muscular now!
33:20 - meaning in tragedy
OMG, these guys are absolutely amazing live, amazing show. So heavy and Tim's vocals are always on point.
frail words collapse bro.
Throw back to the beginning
Nick Hippa absolutely shreds
I just dont understand why they didnt go even bigger. What a powerhouse. Wild riffs and talent. Whole package
Tim went to prison at the height of their success. Probably didn’t help them much. Definitely my favorite metalcore band though. Perfection.
If only something happened to one of the two dudes who literally owned the band. Something that would have completely ruined them. I wonder.
Finally found another vid of Clint singing The Darkest Nights. His hair s a bit curly here though lol
17:40 - The Darkest Nights
That’s why I’m here thanks lol
It's like a rare find. every vocal part he did on shadows is on here.
@@uhlanleasure7475Dave Arthur recorded the cleans on that record, not Clint. Clint, however, was credited.
@@uhlanleasure7475 Live version I meant.
