Hey Tom, I like your 3D Printer reviews. I would be totally interested in a printed Body for an RC Car. Fdm is detail wise a difficult task for those tiny models, do you think it might be possible to ABS/ASA print a model and sand/ filler it to perfection? Or is the Resin printer the only choice?

It surely is possible. but would take ages. the problem with a resin printer would be that the body is extremely fragile.. So 1 crash and the body breaks.

@@TheScalemodelingChannel There is the option of print using the FDM printer and then "paint" a resin layer over the top to then sand and smooth easily? This helps for the prints that are a little too big for a Resin printer or someone who only has an FDM printer.

Layer stability is suck. I have ultimaker style 3d printer and its more great in this. Printer with rails is more great in quality but they pricey.
