Hi Fly displays an A340 during the 70th anniversary of Portuguese Air Force

Hi Fly displayed an A340 during the 70th anniversary of Portuguese Air Force, in Beja. Commander Carlos Mirpuri, assisted by Captains Peter Holemans and Antonios Efthymiou on the A340, and Lieutenant Coronel Duarte Freitas and Major Paulo Silva on the F16’s, presented the public with a stelar performance of precision and beauty, graciously flying their airplanes to corners of the flight envelope rarely seen, in particular for an airliner of the size of the 4 engine Airbus Jetliner. The whole display was planned, practiced and approved under the oversight of both civilian and military authorities, following strict risk management protocols.
