Sorry but the front desk guys job is security, not manual labor. Protecting residents. Has to know ahead for something like this. Loading and unloading is always done via the back and via service elevator. Maybe he was rude, (I need to go rewatch) but you are taking it too personally.

My hubby and I used to visit new home builds when they had open houses. Many of the sales people would always treat us rudely because we don’t look “rich”. Every one of them missed out on a sale. We went with the kind, excited guy who consistently showed us respect whenever we attended.

Ewww, creepy, lifeless building. With the exceptions of a few nice folks on the elevator and out front. The long, blank hallways and the service elevator looked like a scary movie. Like if you got stuck in the elevator, who knows how long you would be in there. I am relieved you are outta there. 🙃

I’m laughing so hard because I had to deal with this so many times when I was doing restaurant set ups. The right hand never knows what the left is doing and the more money someone has the more confusing the job becomes. Common sense is never so common. And give a dunce a uniform and they become God. I got a job nursing for an old lady and I mentioned driving my son;s truck and she fliped out. I said wait a minute, there is no advertizing on the white clean truck and my truck is sereral years newer than your car. It does not leak anything and is pretty. she shut up. I was so angry. she judged me and my son just like we were scum.

Yeah it’s wild they buy these places too so they not only rent it they own it.
It's to protect. Residents pay extra otherwise they would live in a house. You wouldn't just let some strangers walk into your house would you? People can't just wander into a condo building off the street and do whatever they want. That's not safe for the people living there. Having a name gives a record, some ask for drivers licenses and at the end of the day it is the responsibility of each guy at the desk to make notes for the incoming shift of what went on before. Also, when there is something bad tat happen and police are called, there is a log for them.

I've built kitchen cabinets all my life and we installed/uninstalled them in houses, apartments and condos. So I've dealt with folks like that and been in crazy situations like that and much worse, so I completely understand.
Yeah we knew there was going to be others who could relate to this madness. It wasn’t the first time doing a job in a condo building so I tried my best to just laugh and just get it down.
