The tnt knockback triangulation combined with the orbital strike cannon is a force not to be messed with. Leave one stray arrow somewhere and your enemy can transport it to the voodoo machine, triangulate your bases location and nuke you.
Imagine using long-range triangulation to find their precise location (requires airless red stone to transmit the data, and very precise red stone computing) Now use something like the Orbital Strike Cannon to send tnt to them, all ignited by themselves! Or use the triangular or on any player… that can then send tnt that is ignited by a specific person. Insta-frame!
wonderful stuff, also i can see that flaming arrow tnt dropper being used in something like an auto blaze or other mob farm for an eazy kill and loot without any player intervention, thank you for teaching me something new today!
The reason I think for the thorns effect not working interdimensionally is that arrow ownership is lost when the player connected to them is not in the same dimension. Although it's kind of weird because i remember testing this and being able to ignite tnt in one dimension, leave that dimension, and still have it connected to me (i tested this by getting achievements for killing a mob through the TNT explosion). However, if you ignite TNT in a dimension and send that through to a different dimension, it loses the connection unless the player also goes in that dimension. I don't know why the thorns effect didn't work for you since you shot the arrows in the overworld and had them used there too. If there is a way around this i'd love to know but i don't think there is.
We found that the thorns effect would apply anywhere in the same dimension no matter what. However if a player wasn't loading the mechanism the thorns would not apply across dimensions. If a player was nearby the mechanism when it triggers it can still apply the thorns across dimensions.
You could use allays because they naturally heal and when holding a thorns piece it still damages. I don't know if it uses durability but the only down side is that they are small and can fly
Yeah it's a very good idea, but seems to not work, I tested it and the players doesn't get any knockback from the TNT at any direction, I want to use that mechanic to find bases on anarchy servers but I need help, can you help me ?
I think it would be possible to build a redstone contraption which detects if a player has a loting sword in its hand. It would kill a mob from a mob farm with tnt ignited with an arrow by the player and look if the looting effect is applied. It could be used as a form of wireless redstone.
So guys, actually, that kind of data is not stored in your shots. If it worked like that, the arrows you picked up would have NBT data on them for how many mobs left they can hit, and then they would stack separately when you pick them up. The same is true for their despawn rate, it goes back to full after picking up. Trust me when I say that you can pick up the piercing arrows again and again not worrying about them getting used up.
@@staticostrich4689 wait, so when you “refresh” that arrow (to prevent it from respawning) it will reset the number of mobs, and let you use it infinitely?! Or does it just have a percent chance to pierce a mob, and percent chance not to?
@@chtechindustries4174 piercing level four makes your crossbow bolt pierce four times, meaning it can hit five enemies in a row in one shot. If, instead, you shoot four or less mobs with your arrow and then pick up the arrow after it pierced all the mobs, you can fire it again as if it was brand new. Essentially, piercing on your crossbow acts like infinity plus a couple extra steps. Aside the point, but this has one really special-use case for a survival Minecrafter. If you hit yourself with a piercing tipped arrow (eg. shoot straight up and stand still), you can apply the effect and then pick up the arrow brand new. For a little bit of damage and with an open sky, one can use a piercing crossbow to have infinite potion effects.
If you used a piercing crossbow could a single arrow be used infinitely? Or maybe they only work when you directly fire them idk also what the hell is that active hopper locking???????
Won’t the arrows disappear when JKM log off from the server? Or when you restart it? I know I always have to fire new arrows to my warden suppressor when I do either of them.
7:18 I was testing this, but seems to not work, the kockback doesn't work, I wanted to use it as a tool to find bases on anarchy servers, can someone please help me to use it correctly?
TnT looting is actually used in a lot of farms, for example I've used it for my shulker farm, we also use it for raid farms and various other mobfarms.
If you use the TnT to kill a pillager captain it will apply bad omen to the arrows owner, however on a server where resources and infrastructure is shared it doesn't make much sense to spawn a raid in your trading hall.
@@cubicmetre i don't think raids will happen in end or nether. Also did the guy used the machine? Another also why can't you use a single arrow with the impaling from a crossbow. It shoots right through the villager and can be reused
@@Alanhallow idk about nether, but raids can spawn in the end, so would def mess up their trading hall. Impaling would prob not work that well as it can only be reused a certain num of times, for example could only be reused twice if impaling two enchantment. You would still need a bunch of arrows.
Good Idea!, but sadly I tried it with both Elder and Normal guardians in their normal ad charging states and doesn't work, Guardian farms that produces tons of items uses ignited-lotting tnt to make the guardians drop more items, so if the thorns effect would apply to the player for guardians at those farms, the farms wouldn't exist
why not use a trident? i use a minecraft trident grinder that gets xp like you said but it doesnt despawn lot easier to reuse and from me dieing inside the mob grinder i can confirm it does deal thorns damage Edit: this only works in bedrock edition I thought it works in both editions OOPS
From ChatGPT: The "storage tech is my passion" meme is a reference to a specific type of person who is extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about storage technology such as hard drives, solid state drives (SSDs), RAID arrays, and other types of data storage. The meme is often used to mock or make fun of someone who is overly obsessed with storage technology to the point of it being their "passion" or even a hobby. The meme is typically depicted as an image of a person, usually a nerdy or tech-savvy individual, with a caption that says "storage tech is my passion" or some variation thereof. It is usually used in a humorous or ironic way to mock the person's seemingly excessive interest in storage technology. The meme is often used in online communities that are focused on technology, specifically IT professionals and computer enthusiasts.
