It's kind of heavy/slower/odd in the first four episodes but then it kicks off and the back half is the most intense Flannigan has done so far for his series, imo. ALSO Squid Game!!!

You can totally make jokes AND not make fun of a situation (ex: zavidd's commentary on Gerald's Game), Dylan just never seems to care. It hits different and it's not his first slip up either. TLDR on the Dylan thing, Dylan was making fun of the character and making ridiculous jokes as usual, and people took it personally. He had to establish that how he treats a work of fiction is completely different than his attitude towards real issues. He wouldn't be making those jokes if this was a documentary or someone's real story.

I loved this movie, and one thing that kept me so mad at the killer (besides the obvious) was how he was constantly knocking and banging like he was mocking her for not being able to hear it.

Home invasion movies, OMG!!! Like true crime stuff is enough for me on that front. I am very selective when it comes to Home Invasion films. Usually they have to be like "bad ass bitch" Home Invasion films like "Panic Room", "You're Next", etc. I'm paranoid already, saw one home invasion movie that had an unpleasant end had me sleeping with a knife under my pillow all throughout college. You can totally make jokes AND not make fun of a situation (ex: zavidd's commentary on Gerald's Game), Dylan just never seems to care. It hits different and it's not his first slip up either. Personally I unsubbed after his Jennifers Body commentary, that was... not it for me.

TLDR on the Dylan thing, Dylan was making fun of the character and making ridiculous jokes as usual, and people took it personally. He had to establish that how he treats a work of fiction is completely different than his attitude towards real issues. He wouldn't be making those jokes if this was a documentary or someone's real story.

Home invasion movies, OMG!!! Like true crime stuff is enough for me on that front. I am very selective when it comes to Home Invasion films. Usually they have to be like "bad ass bitch" Home Invasion films like "Panic Room", "You're Next", etc. I'm paranoid already, saw one home invasion movie that had an unpleasant end had me sleeping with a knife under my pillow all throughout college.
